Thanks for this amazing episode on the genius that is Don McLean. His body of work is timeless and diverse. I concur with you about the much under rated Homeless Brother album, it definitely stands up with the more popular McLean albums in my opinion too. I was lucky enough to see Don McLean about 10 years ago, front row watching him captivate the audience with not only hits like Vincent and American Pie, but also delving into his brilliant album tracks like The Legend Of Andrew McCrew and Homeless Brother. It was an amazing night and I can certainly see how Roberta Flack wrote Killing Me Softly about the live performance she was so inspired by. Keep up the fantastic podcast guys, it is so interesting and refreshing to hear these wonderful artists we love talking intimately about their craft.
