Can I ask everyone here who is a fan of this show: what should I make of Dave Meltzer? I'm 28 and Irish. we used to get raw and smackdown on sky sports at the weekends and my brother would stay up to tape the ppvs so these podcasts really get me to see the inside and behind the scenes for the first time besides the docs like wrestling with shadows, beyond the mat, and the Monday night wars. we didn't get much of the magazines or anything like that. Conrad seems to think he's the man, mostly, in wrestling journalism, but Bruce mostly, calls bull... but meltzer seems to really respected outside wwf for wrestling. is he credible or not. I've seen a few interviews with him online but have been reluctant to watch them

broadcast has been really lacking lately. They were kind of like the bad boys of wrestling podcast now it's just very toned down. it's mostly Conrad reading the card or something that happened on a show. Bruce then tells us stuff we basically already know. And then move on to another subject.... either that or he doesn't remember... That's pretty much the show

yeah, I still love the podcast. but it's definitely changed for sometime now. it used to be the outlaw show, or badboys of the industry; for lack of a better term. there was no filter...now it's; here's the match, here's the outcome, and that's pretty much it.

STWW & 83WKS quality and humour have both dropped considerably since Bruce & Eric both now have jobs working at WWE

I have to agree that this podcast has not been the same since Bruce returned to the WWE. Growing up in Houston and Louisiana during the late 70's and early 80's along with being a diehard wrestling fan for 40+ years i am just sick of all this sh**. It is sad but who really cares anymore... WWE knows what works, but refuses to do it. Say what you will but Jim Cornette said it and its actually true... "Wrestling Is DEAD"!!!
