I'm so glad that they have a podcast now. I'm a "founding member" of The Current radio station and a huge fan. This podcast will allow me to listen to the music I love while I'm deployed overseas, and make it so I am not lost musically when I return!

If you like this one, be sure to seek out NPR's Open Mic podcast and KEXP's Song of the Day. Between all these free song podcasts, it's like getting a free indie compilation CD every other week. Wonderful!

This is a fabulous way to explore and discover new music! The range of music so far has been impressive, and I look forward to seeing what these folks continue to come up with. I checked out the radio station as well, which streams online. It's a pretty interesting blend of independent and mainstream music, with an intelligent discourse and knowledgeable DJs. Very refreshing!
