Decide. Commit. Become. Part-3 | Youth Jam Presentation by HG Vaisesika Dasa | 06 Dec 2025

You will find, when you think about priorities and you think about values, that some of them that are going to stick around probably throughout your life—but absolutely, it can be adjusted any which way. It’s a fluid document that you can work on. It’s for you, and it’s to just have a sense of which direction you’re going and what’s most important to you in your life. Because most people never think about it; they just do what’s in front of them, and there’s always something more you have to do to finish before you really get time for yourself to think about what’s most important to you in your life. That’s why self-examination and being self-directing in your life is a good thing. ---------------------------------------------------------- To connect with His Grace Vaiśeṣika Dāsa, please visit https://www.fanthespark.com/next-steps/ask-vaisesika-dasa/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Add to your wisdom literature collection: https://iskconsv.com/book-store/ https://www.bbtacademic.com/books/ https://thefourquestionsbook.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Join us live on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FanTheSpark/ Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sound-bhakti/id1132423868 For the latest videos, subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@FanTheSpark For the latest in SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/fan-the-spark ------------------------------------------------------------#determination #practice #priorities #goalsetting #value #purpose #spiritualawakening #soul #spiritualexperience #spiritualpurposeoflife #spiritualgrowthlessons #secretsofspirituality #vaisesikaprabhu #vaisesikadasa #vaisesikaprabhulectures #spirituality #bhaktiyoga #krishna #spiritualpurposeoflife #krishnaspirituality #spiritualusachannel #whybhaktiisimportant #whyspiritualityisimportant #vaisesika #spiritualconnection #thepowerofspiritualstudy #selfrealization #spirituallectures #spiritualstudy #spiritualquestions #spiritualquestionsanswered #trendingspiritualtopics #fanthespark #spiritualpowerofmeditation #spiritualteachersonyoutube #spiritualhabits #spiritualclarity #bhagavadgita #srimadbhagavatam #spiritualbeings #kttvg #keepthetranscendentalvibrationgoing #spiritualpurpose

Decide. Commit. Become. Part-2 | Youth Jam Presentation by HG Vaisesika Dasa | 29 Nov 2025

There’s an author and speaker named Og Mandino. I don’t know if he’s still around. He wrote about such things, and one of his sayings was, “Never greet the dawn without a map.” I always liked that. Have a map when you wake up in the morning; make sure you plan your day, because if you don’t frame how you want your day to be, somebody else will frame it for you. If you don’t have your clear priorities for the day, someone will make their problem your priority. Like, if they want you to do something else, if you don’t have a valid reason why you have to do your thing—because it’s already on your list—then they’re going to make you do their thing, and that way your life can get away from you. So, plan your day. It’s your day; it’s your life. You get to choose where you’re going to place your attention. So, plan your day ahead of time. Write it down.Once you have it on paper, you can just say, “Sorry, look at my list. I already have this.” And then set time-bound goals, because when they’re open-ended, then everyone thinks—as the Prabhupada said—"I will live for millions of years," but we don't, and our time is short. So it’s better if we demarcate an end point to whatever we want to do, even if it’s five minutes hence, or five days, or five years. Once you put the ending point, it gives you what’s called "forced efficiency." You know you have a certain amount of time. I notice for myself, whenever I’m going on a trip, that’s when I get the most efficient: the week before, two weeks before, the day before. I’m focused on what I have to get done before I leave. So, putting time-bound goals makes it imperative that I finish what I want to do. Of course, you have to be careful to plan in some time for yourself too, so you’re not always pushing—because we may need some balance in our life, right? Decide. Commit. Become. | Youth Jam Presentation by HG Vaisesika Dasa | 15 Nov 2025

Nowadays, the world is literally built for distraction, not direction. There is a concerted effort to catch your attention from all sides. Of course, there’s not just social media, but people advertise everywhere for the latest styles and ideas. I haven’t seen too many billboards about Kṛṣṇa. Most people start strong but quit early; and it’s not from a lack of talent, but a lack of systems to stay determined. My contention is that our determination outperforms skill, luck, and motivation in the long run. Just to give you a definition of determination—which you might find helpful and interesting—is that 'determination' has the word terminus in it, which means an ending point. In one sense, it means to be able to finish something. Finish what you start. Have you ever gotten halfway through a book and then left it behind, and then noticed a year later it's still there? ------------------------------------------------------------ To connect with His Grace Vaiśeṣika Dāsa, please visit https://www.fanthespark.com/next-steps/ask-vaisesika-dasa/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Add to your wisdom literature collection: https://iskconsv.com/book-store/ https://www.bbtacademic.com/books/ https://thefourquestionsbook.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Join us live on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FanTheSpark/ Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sound-bhakti/id1132423868 For the latest videos, subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@FanTheSpark For the latest in SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/fan-the-spark ------------------------------------------------------------ #spiritualawakening #soul #spiritualexperience #spiritualpurposeoflife #spiritualgrowthlessons #secretsofspirituality #vaisesikaprabhu #vaisesikadasa #vaisesikaprabhulectures #spirituality #bhaktiyoga #krishna #spiritualpurposeoflife #krishnaspirituality #spiritualusachannel #whybhaktiisimportant #whyspiritualityisimportant #vaisesika #spiritualconnection #thepowerofspiritualstudy #selfrealization #spirituallectures #spiritualstudy #spiritualquestions #spiritualquestionsanswered #trendingspiritualtopics #fanthespark #spiritualpowerofmeditation #spiritualteachersonyoutube #spiritualhabits #spiritualclarity #bhagavadgita #srimadbhagavatam #spiritualbeings #kttvg #keepthetranscendentalvibrationgoing #spiritualpurpose

Refine Your Intentions | SB 1.2.21 | HG Vaisesika Dasa | ISV | 13 Dec 2025

Once my godbrother, Vatsala, gave his Bhagavad-gītā class, and he gave the example of yogurt. How do you make yogurt? Well, first you get some milk from Bhakti Farms—because there’s no better milk on the planet! I’ve watched Nirkulā make yogurt all the time—you get the right kind of pot, and you have to use a thermometer to find out the exact temperature. Then you put in some culture of yogurt from a previous batch. And how much does it take? A dollop! How much is a dollop? Anybody know? It’s not specifically defined, but it’s like just a little bit—a dollop. You put a dollop in, then you leave it in that environment, and what happens? The whole pot turns to yogurt. It takes to the culture, and then it spreads and it becomes part of it. In a similar way, my godbrother Vatsala said, "We have the big pot of our life." What’s in it? All kinds of stuff. If you really take the time now, before the New Year comes, and you write down everything you’re doing, you’ll be shocked at all the stuff you’re doing simultaneously. You’re doing a lot. And then if you think, "Okay, how much am I chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa? A dollop? I’ve got a little dollop going on here?" You keep doing that, as Prabhupāda is pointing out here (BG 8.7), and adjust your intention. Why am I doing what I’m doing? It’s like, "I’m offering to Kṛṣṇa," and we should be sincere about that. Then as we do, that chanting and that intention will envelop the entire pot, and it will turn to something else. It’s a foregone conclusion that that will happen. So, it’s not a disadvantage to be engaged in the world. It’s only a disadvantage when you forget Kṛṣṇa. When you remember Kṛṣṇa, then 'vidyāṁ cāvidyāṁ ca yas' (Iso Mantra 7)—you see two things at the same time. You see ignorance and the result of ignorant activities, and you see Kṛṣṇa consciousness, you see the antidote. Those two become a solid realization when you see them side by side. It’s so interesting, isn’t it, to be engaged in the world when you’re reading Bhagavad-gītā? ------------------------------------------------------------ To connect with His Grace Vaiśeṣika Dāsa, please visit https://www.fanthespark.com/next-steps/ask-vaisesika-dasa/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Add to your wisdom literature collection: https://iskconsv.com/book-store/ https://www.bbtacademic.com/books/ https://thefourquestionsbook.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Join us live on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FanTheSpark/ Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sound-bhakti/id1132423868 For the latest videos, subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@FanTheSpark For the latest in SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/fan-the-spark ------------------------------------------------------------ #spiritualawakening #soul #spiritualexperience #spiritualpurposeoflife #spiritualgrowthlessons #secretsofspirituality #vaisesikaprabhu #vaisesikadasa #vaisesikaprabhulectures #spirituality #bhaktiyoga #krishna #spiritualpurposeoflife #krishnaspirituality #spiritualusachannel #whybhaktiisimportant #whyspiritualityisimportant #vaisesika #spiritualconnection #thepowerofspiritualstudy #selfrealization #spirituallectures #spiritualstudy #spiritualquestions #spiritualquestionsanswered #trendingspiritualtopics #fanthespark #spiritualpowerofmeditation #spiritualteachersonyoutube #spiritualhabits #spiritualclarity #bhagavadgita #srimadbhagavatam #spiritualbeings #kttvg #keepthetranscendentalvibrationgoing #spiritualpurpose

Be Brave | Live to Give- Super Sunday with HG Vaisesika Dasa | 30 Nov 2025

I'll give a final point and a tip. The final point is that your pledge is your wedge. What it really means to be brave is to write down a number and make it bigger than the last time. That takes a lot of guts. You’ve got to write it down and then commit to it. That's when the energy starts to flow—not before, but only after you make the pledge. So, make the pledge. Whatever you think you can do, get together with your devotees and allow everybody in your area to pledge. Also, don't deprive anybody of the opportunity to be involved in the marathon; otherwise, they miss the nectar of life and the special mercy of Śrīla Prabhupāda and Lord Caitanya. Be Brave | Live to Give- Super Sunday with HG Vaisesika Dasa | Oceania | 30 Nov 2025

We want to advance, so we have to have courage; and that’s the theme of this campaign. It’s based on what Prabhupāda said when he told a couple of his disciples—Gurudāsa and Śyāmasundara—that when he was a child, he had gone to the Victoria Memorial which was being built and had scaffolding on it still, and he climbed to the top. Brahmānanda or Gurudāsa (I can’t remember which one) said, 'Prabhupāda, you must have been very brave.' And he said, "I’m still brave. Who else would come to America alone to preach?" So that’s the theme of this year. It’s no fun holding back. We only experience our full potential when we’re brave and we move forward. ------------------------------------------------------------ To connect with His Grace Vaiśeṣika Dāsa, please visit https://www.fanthespark.com/next-steps/ask-vaisesika-dasa/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Add to your wisdom literature collection: https://iskconsv.com/book-store/ https://www.bbtacademic.com/books/ https://thefourquestionsbook.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Join us live on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FanTheSpark/ Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sound-bhakti/id1132423868 For the latest videos, subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@FanTheSpark For the latest in SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/fan-the-spark ------------------------------------------------------------ #spiritualawakening #soul #spiritualexperience #spiritualpurposeoflife #spiritualgrowthlessons #secretsofspirituality #vaisesikaprabhu #vaisesikadasa #vaisesikaprabhulectures #spirituality #bhaktiyoga #krishna #spiritualpurposeoflife #krishnaspirituality #spiritualusachannel #whybhaktiisimportant #whyspiritualityisimportant #vaisesika #spiritualconnection #thepowerofspiritualstudy #selfrealization #spirituallectures #spiritualstudy #spiritualquestions #spiritualquestionsanswered #trendingspiritualtopics #fanthespark #spiritualpowerofmeditation #spiritualteachersonyoutube #spiritualhabits #spiritualclarity #bhagavadgita #srimadbhagavatam #spiritualbeings #kttvg #keepthetranscendentalvibrationgoing #spiritualpurpose

Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī has also cited the Cāturmāsya-māhātmya of the Skanda Purāṇa concerning the necessity of chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa in this age: tathā caivottamaṁ loke tapaḥ śrī-hari-kīrtanam kalau yuge viśeṣeṇa viṣṇu-prītyai samācaret “In this way the most perfect penance to be executed in this world is the chanting of the name of Lord Śrī Hari. Don't Be Angry at The Instrument of Your Karma | HG Vaisesika Dasa | KIR-Vrindavan | 23 Oct 2025

In the Bhāgavatam, it said that the universe is working in a uniform way, which means that everything works perfectly because it's all under the guidance of Kṛṣṇa and His energies. So if something happens to you because of somebody else, we can see it as the universe working in a uniform way, and I'll give you an example. Peter Burwash was a friend of mine. He was a businessman. Passed away a few years ago. Used to be a professional athlete, and then he started a company called Peter Burwash International. He knew Prabhupāda well because he lived in Hawaii and Prabhupāda used to live there and write. And it was Peter Burwash's headquarters. He took a lot of advice from Prabhupāda, and when he was just getting his business started and he got interested in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, he gave a donation to the temple, and he handed it to the local temple commander to start his life membership. About an hour later, the person who accepted the money absconded, which means they ran away with the money. Peter Burwash was very angry and he went to Prabhupāda to complain directly to him because Prabhupāda lived just right upstairs. And when Prabhupāda heard his case, the first thing he said was: “Don't become angry with the instrument of your karma.” Peter Burwash lectured all over the world, and that was what he always started with when he gave talks—that he learned this from his spiritual teacher. He would say: “Don't become angry with the instrument of your karma.” So there are philosophical ways of dealing with it. They're very practical tools that you can use to get through all these sticky situations to make sure that you don't make it worse than it was before. But you don't have to just accept it and move on or just hold it in. There are ways to deal with it. Don't Let The Elephant in Your Garden | HG Vaisesika Dasa | KIR-Ter Kadamb | 24 Oct 2025

Chaitanya Mahāprabhu said: yadi vaiṣṇava-aparādha uṭhe hātī mātā upāḍe vā chiṇḍe, tāra śukhi’ yāya pātā (Cc Madhya 19.156) When growing the creeper of devotional service, it starts to grow in the heart. Rādha means to perform service to Kṛṣṇa; aparādha means the opposite. And Vaiṣṇava-aparādha means to make an offense to devotees He said Yadi—if, you do something that is contrary to proper service to the Lord.. Then, "uṭhe hātī mātā." Hātī means an elephant. Upāḍe vā chiṇḍe, tāra śukhi’ yāya pātā"— you get an elephant in your garden. Back in Bushey, if you wake up one morning and there is an elephant in your backyard, it’s too late; your garden is ruined because all he has to do is walk around a little bit. What to speak of if he is a maddened elephant! Because maddened elephants will go through and ravage neighborhoods, flip over rickshaws, then cars, then trucks, and smash down all the little shops along the way. You have probably seen it on YouTube; when an elephant becomes angry, sometimes they’ll go for 8–10 miles and nobody can stop them. They wreak havoc. So, Chaitanya Mahāprabhu said that as a gardener, one must be especially careful not to offend Vaiṣṇavas, because it is the "mad elephant offense" (hātī-mātā-aparādha). Śukhi’ means that after the elephant tramples on your devotional creeper, it dries up, becomes ineffectual, and won't grow anymore. Śukhi’ yāya pātā—the creeper is ruined in that way. He told Sanātana and Rūpa Gosvāmī to be careful. And then the other thing he told him is.. Entitlement: The Death Knell of Bhakti | Govardhan Puja | HG Vaisesika Dasa | 22 Oct 2025

Kṛṣṇa has already an intimate relationship with all living beings, because he’s feeding them. Nityo nityānām cetanaś cetanānām eko bahūnām yo vidadhāti kāmān—He feeds everybody, and there’s not one person you can find anywhere that doesn’t have food available to him or her, because Krishna is all-powerful, and he’s feeding every living being. But he wants more than that; not just this "supply and demand" because I’m hungry. He wants love, and he wants to extract the love that’s dormant within the heart of every living being. Therefore, he sets up this elaborate ruse that he performs to demote Indra. That’s just another reason that he performs the pastime. Indra became proud, and that’s the death knell to bhakti. Pride comes in various forms, and one of them is entitlement. In fact, Yamunā Devī, one of the famous disciples of Śrīla Prabhupāda, preached heavily in her final days that we should beware of entitlement. That is, I think, because of my stature (whatever I may think that is), there are various ways we can get it into our head that we deserve more than others. Of course, there’s etiquette, and we observe that; we’re not communists. But if I have in my head that I deserve something, then it’s very hard for me to appreciate anything. And this entitlement that pollutes the mind and consciousness had gotten into the mind and consciousness of Indra, and he thought, "I deserve that offering of the cowherd men." And if you’ve ever thought you deserve something and then you didn’t get it, doesn’t it cause anguish? ------------------------------------------------------------ To connect with His Grace Vaiśeṣika Dāsa, please visit https://www.fanthespark.com/next-steps/ask-vaisesika-dasa/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Add to your wisdom literature collection: https://iskconsv.com/book-store/ https://www.bbtacademic.com/books/ https://thefourquestionsbook.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Join us live on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FanTheSpark/ Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sound-bhakti/id1132423868 For the latest videos, subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@FanTheSpark For the latest in SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/fan-the-spark ------------------------------------------------------------ #govardhanpuja #spiritualawakening #soul #spiritualexperience #spiritualpurposeoflife #spiritualgrowthlessons #secretsofspirituality #vaisesikaprabhu #vaisesikadasa #vaisesikaprabhulectures #spirituality #bhaktiyoga #krishna #spiritualpurposeoflife #krishnaspirituality #spiritualusachannel #whybhaktiisimportant #whyspiritualityisimportant #vaisesika #spiritualconnection #thepowerofspiritualstudy #selfrealization #spirituallectures #spiritualstudy #spiritualquestions #spiritualquestionsanswered #trendingspiritualtopics #fanthespark #spiritualpowerofmeditation #spiritualteachersonyoutube #spiritualhabits #spiritualclarity #bhagavadgita #srimadbhagavatam #spiritualbeings #kttvg #keepthetranscendentalvibrationgoing #spiritualpurpose

Only The Vaishnava is Peaceful | HG Vaisesika Dasa | KIR- Vrindavan | 21 Oct 2025

People who are bought and sold in politics, for instance, they may go along with treachery or despotism because they don't want to lose their job. Happens all the time. People just hang on because they think, "Well, anyway. Maybe it will blow over. Nobody will notice," but they just don't want to lose their job. And I mentioned, maybe the other night, that when the demigods were observing the fight between Hiraṇyakaśipu and Lord Nṛsiṁhadeva, Narasiṁhadeva had captured Hiraṇyakaśipu, had him in his clutches. Now the devas, whose homes, whose realms, whose jobs, services, everything had been usurped by Hiraṇyakaśipu, were watching the fight. It says from behind the clouds, because they wanted everything back. They wanted all their stuff back. They wanted status quo back. So they were watching. What did Lord Narasiṁhadeva do during the fight? He caught Hiraṇyakaśipu. What happened after that? It appeared as if Hiraṇyakaśipu slipped away. What did the demigods think then? "Now we're really finished, because we were rooting for the enemy." Think of that: the Supreme Personality of Godhead appears and you have some doubt of whether he's going to win or not, and you're also thinking, "I just rooted for the people. The guy who's fighting against him. Hiraṇyakaśipu, is really going to come get me now." Imagine the kind of stricture that he's going to give to us now that we rooted for the enemy. These are very high-minded personalities. They are servants of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, but they are attached. As it turns out, Lord Narasiṁhadeva is half cat, right? What do cats do when they catch a mouse? Have you ever seen it? When we were going door to door, there was a cat in Colorado on somebody's lawn. The cat was just sitting there and a little mouse was hopping around. As soon as the mouse would get a few inches outside a radius, the cat would catch it and pull it back and then wait for it. If anybody knows cats, they like to play with their prey before they crunch them up. In the same way, Lord Narasiṁhadeva let go, Prabhupāda said, because he has that feeling like, "Let him go, I will pull him back again." Then, of course, he ripped him into shreds. But in that case, we see that Prahlāda didn't mind at all. In fact, he wasn't afraid at all of Lord Nṛsiṁhadeva. In the whole mess he wasn't afraid because he was completely detached. All he wanted was service to his spiritual master. .------------------------------------------------------------ To connect with His Grace Vaiśeṣika Dāsa, please visit https://www.fanthespark.com/next-steps/ask-vaisesika-dasa/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Add to your wisdom literature collection: https://iskconsv.com/book-store/ https://www.bbtacademic.com/books/ https://thefourquestionsbook.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Join us live on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FanTheSpark/ Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sound-bhakti/id1132423868 For the latest videos, subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@FanTheSpark For the latest in SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/fan-the-spark ------------------------------------------------------------ #spiritualawakening #soul #spiritualexperience #spiritualpurposeoflife #spiritualgrowthlessons #secretsofspirituality #vaisesikaprabhu #vaisesikadasa #vaisesikaprabhulectures #spirituality #bhaktiyoga #krishna #spiritualpurposeoflife #krishnaspirituality #spiritualusachannel #whybhaktiisimportant #whyspiritualityisimportant #vaisesika #spiritualconnection #thepowerofspiritualstudy #selfrealization #spirituallectures #spiritualstudy #spiritualquestions #spiritualquestionsanswered #trendingspiritualtopics #fanthespark #spiritualpowerofmeditation #spiritualteachersonyoutube #spiritualhabits #spiritualclarity #bhagavadgita #srimadbhagavatam #spiritualbeings #kttvg #keepthetranscendentalvibrationgoing #spiritualpurpose

The Seeds We Plant Determine Our Future | HG Vaisesika Dasa | ISV | 15 Dec 2025

In 1972, Śrīla Prabhupāda made a down payment on the land in Juhu beach, Bombay, intending to build Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa, a beautiful temple there. Even though Śrīla Prabhupāda had made a down payment on the land, the owner, who had a past history of shady dealings, had not yet handed over the land deed to ISKCON as he had promised he would do. Śrīla Prabhupāda saw indications that the owner might change his mind and decide not to sell the land, or worse, he may try to cheat the devotees and keep the down payment. In India, when one installs deities on a piece of land legally, it secures one's hold on the land, as the deities become the proprietors, and no one else will dare to move them. Therefore, to secure the Juhu land, Śrīla Prabhupāda moved the Deities Śrī Śrī Rādhā Rāsa-Bihārī there as quickly as possible after giving the down payment. Just after doing this, he also performed a ceremony to lay the cornerstone for the temple he intended to build there, another act that legally solidifies one's right to keep and stay on the piece of land. At first, due to a lack of facility, the devotees had to worship Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa in a tent. After some years of intense struggle, Śrīla Prabhupāda and his followers developed the land, relocating the previous renters, and established a beautiful temple there that today hosts millions of people every year. As humans, we have the chance to build such a temple in our hearts. Our bodies are like that Juhu land. Just as Śrīla Prabhupāda quickly installed the deities on the Juhu land, we should also install Kṛṣṇa in our hearts as soon as possible, before death comes and cheats us, taking away our opportunity. By making a firm vow to chant the holy names a fixed number of times each day, we lay the cornerstone for a temple in our hearts where we can properly worship Kṛṣṇa. As Śrīla Prabhupāda pushed forward to secure the Juhu land, we must also push forward against all odds to ready our hearts for Kṛṣṇa's worship. ------------------------------------------------------------ To connect with His Grace Vaiśeṣika Dāsa, please visit https://www.fanthespark.com/next-steps/ask-vaisesika-dasa/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Add to your wisdom literature collection: https://iskconsv.com/book-store/ https://www.bbtacademic.com/books/ https://thefourquestionsbook.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Join us live on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FanTheSpark/ Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sound-bhakti/id1132423868 For the latest videos, subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@FanTheSpark For the latest in SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/fan-the-spark ------------------------------------------------------------ #spiritualawakening #soul #spiritualexperience #spiritualpurposeoflife #spiritualgrowthlessons #secretsofspirituality #vaisesikaprabhu #vaisesikadasa #vaisesikaprabhulectures #spirituality #bhaktiyoga #krishna #spiritualpurposeoflife #krishnaspirituality #spiritualusachannel #whybhaktiisimportant #whyspiritualityisimportant #vaisesika #spiritualconnection #thepowerofspiritualstudy #selfrealization #spirituallectures #spiritualstudy #spiritualquestions #spiritualquestionsanswered #trendingspiritualtopics #fanthespark #spiritualpowerofmeditation #spiritualteachersonyoutube #spiritualhabits #spiritualclarity #bhagavadgita #srimadbhagavatam #spiritualbeings #kttvg #keepthetranscendentalvibrationgoing #spiritualpurpose

Know Where You Are Going | Success Sadhana | HG Vaisesika Dasa | 12 Dec 2025

Priorities determine what comes first when things compete. I don't know about all of you, but I've noticed there are a lot of competing philosophies. There are a lot of competing activities, different kinds of attitudes. So, when there's a confluence of all these things, we can feel overwhelmed. But if you have decided ahead of time what's most important in your life, and you have it ordered—that's what priority means—what comes first. Technically, it means one thing that's most important, the prime thing in your life. It has come over time that we make several priorities, and maybe there's a hierarchy, and that's how I recommend writing it. Write down the things that are most important to you and try to order them: what comes first, what comes second, what comes third. And then values—just giving definitions here—govern how I act, regardless of the outcome of whatever activity I'm engaged in. One of the cardinal principles of enlightened living is how we react to what happens to us. It's not what happens; it's what we do after it happens to us that defines our values. As we were just defining satisfaction, we may engage, and then something comes along that seems like an obstacle, how do we react to it? How do we remain satisfied? So, one of our values might be to be tolerant or to be in a state of equanimity. Dealing with situations governs how I react, regardless of what the outcome is. So, if I say I'm going to be satisfied, then if something desirable or undesirable comes, I am accepting. ------------------------------------------------------------ To connect with His Grace Vaiśeṣika Dāsa, please visit https://www.fanthespark.com/next-steps/ask-vaisesika-dasa/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Add to your wisdom literature collection: https://iskconsv.com/book-store/ https://www.bbtacademic.com/books/ https://thefourquestionsbook.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Join us live on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FanTheSpark/ Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sound-bhakti/id1132423868 For the latest videos, subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@FanTheSpark For the latest in SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/fan-the-spark ------------------------------------------------------------ #successsadhana #spiritualgoals #spiritualawakening #soul #spiritualexperience #spiritualpurposeoflife #spiritualgrowthlessons #secretsofspirituality #vaisesikaprabhu #vaisesikadasa #vaisesikaprabhulectures #spirituality #bhaktiyoga #krishna #spiritualpurposeoflife #krishnaspirituality #spiritualusachannel #whybhaktiisimportant #whyspiritualityisimportant #vaisesika #spiritualconnection #thepowerofspiritualstudy #selfrealization #spirituallectures #spiritualstudy #spiritualquestions #spiritualquestionsanswered #trendingspiritualtopics #fanthespark #spiritualpowerofmeditation #spiritualteachersonyoutube #spiritualhabits #spiritualclarity #bhagavadgita #srimadbhagavatam #spiritualbeings #kttvg #keepthetranscendentalvibrationgoing #spiritualpurpose

Knowledge is a Gift, Not a Conquest | HG Vaisesika Dasa | ISV | 13 Dec 2025

I was reading about a scientist named George Washington Carver, and was struck by his observations about science and how to realize the deeper levels of material phenomena. He said, "Anything will give up its secrets if you love it enough." And I am paraphrasing what he said, "Attention and love reveal understanding." So he presented that love is a method. Then he gave a definition of love, which I thought would be helpful for the process of chanting. He said: "It's disciplined attention, not sentiment; patient attention." He said, "Humility before what you're studying, a willingness to listen rather than dominate." He said, "When approaching a plant, problem, or person, you need respect, curiosity, and care. Nature responds to patience. Truth is revealed gradually, not extracted violently." "Careful observation opens possibilities others overlook. If you stay with something long enough," (direct quote) "it teaches you." "People reveal themselves when they are not being used, judged, or rushed." (Good for book distribution too.) He also said, "Truth is unified. Nature is a form of divine communication. Knowledge is a gift, not a conquest." Then you gave this formula: Attention+Love=Understanding. How you approach something shapes what you can know. Understanding is received, not seized. Love is patient, ethical attention. So, in the matter of chanting, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu said, “tṛṇād api sunīcena.” (One should be humbler than a blade of grass.) Now, be very, very humble and approach like this. It's the perfect method. And I especially liked: disciplined attention, patient attention, humility before what you're studying, a willingness to listen rather than dominate. So, not expecting anything, but being humbly aware that perfect knowledge requires the perfect method, which means that if Kṛṣṇa is to reveal Himself in His name, I have to have great respect, humility, and patience. ------------------------------------------------------------ To connect with His Grace Vaiśeṣika Dāsa, please visit https://www.fanthespark.com/next-steps/ask-vaisesika-dasa/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Add to your wisdom literature collection: https://iskconsv.com/book-store/ https://www.bbtacademic.com/books/ https://thefourquestionsbook.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Join us live on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FanTheSpark/ Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sound-bhakti/id1132423868 For the latest videos, subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@FanTheSpark For the latest in SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/fan-the-spark ------------------------------------------------------------ #makejapagreatagain #mantrameditation #chantharekrishnaandbehapy ##spiritualawakening #soul #spiritualexperience #spiritualpurposeoflife #spiritualgrowthlessons #secretsofspirituality #vaisesikaprabhu #vaisesikadasa #vaisesikaprabhulectures #spirituality #bhaktiyoga #krishna #spiritualpurposeoflife #krishnaspirituality #spiritualusachannel #whybhaktiisimportant #whyspiritualityisimportant #vaisesika #spiritualconnection #thepowerofspiritualstudy #selfrealization #spirituallectures #spiritualstudy #spiritualquestions #spiritualquestionsanswered #trendingspiritualtopics #fanthespark #spiritualpowerofmeditation #spiritualteachersonyoutube #spiritualhabits #spiritualclarity #bhagavadgita #srimadbhagavatam #spiritualbeings #kttvg #keepthetranscendentalvibrationgoing #spiritualpurpose

Set Your Dharma For 2026 | Success Sadhana | HG Vaisesika Dasa | 05 Dec 2025

This is one of the first exercises for developing your constitution for 2026. You could take some time to examine what values means, and look at some of the values. This is a nice list from Brené Brown of values that we may look forward to developing. It's not necessarily values we have now, but it just means what we consider worthwhile, where we'd like to put our attention. You know, the word "worship? It originally comes from where the word "worth", and when you put "-ship" on the end of something, it turns into a noun. And over time, "worth-ship" morphed into "worship." So what we consider value is that place where we worship. What are the values? Now I'll just give another element to this: All of these values are metaphysical. How will you measure empathy? You can't do it empirically. Empirically, you can't go to Ace Hardware and get a meter that measures empathy. You can judge how generous somebody is, but you don't know how much they have, so are they being really generous? These values are intrinsically metaphysical; they are beyond the physical world. So looking at them, feeling them, feeling separation from them, wanting to develop them, this is also part of spiritual development. When we become aware of the plethora of values that are available for cultivation, we can uplift our spirit, our spiritual part of life, by becoming aware of them. ------------------------------------------------------------ To connect with His Grace Vaiśeṣika Dāsa, please visit https://www.fanthespark.com/next-steps/ask-vaisesika-dasa/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Add to your wisdom literature collection: https://iskconsv.com/book-store/ https://www.bbtacademic.com/books/ https://thefourquestionsbook.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Join us live on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FanTheSpark/ Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sound-bhakti/id1132423868 For the latest videos, subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@FanTheSpark For the latest in SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/fan-the-spark ------------------------------------------------------------ #successsadhana #spiritualvalues #goalsetting #spiritualawakening #soul #spiritualexperience #spiritualpurposeoflife #spiritualgrowthlessons #secretsofspirituality #vaisesikaprabhu #vaisesikadasa #vaisesikaprabhulectures #spirituality #bhaktiyoga #krishna #spiritualpurposeoflife #krishnaspirituality #spiritualusachannel #whybhaktiisimportant #whyspiritualityisimportant #vaisesika #spiritualconnection #thepowerofspiritualstudy #selfrealization #spirituallectures #spiritualstudy #spiritualquestions #spiritualquestionsanswered #trendingspiritualtopics #fanthespark #spiritualpowerofmeditation #spiritualteachersonyoutube #spiritualhabits #spiritualclarity #bhagavadgita #srimadbhagavatam #spiritualbeings #kttvg #keepthetranscendentalvibrationgoing #spiritualpurpose

Hearing is More Powerful Than Thinking | HG Vaisesika Dasa | ISV | 06 Dec 2025

I brought a quote with me this morning that I found Śrīla Prabhupāda speaking about chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa. He says, "In this age, hearing is more important than thinking, because one's thinking may be disturbed by mental agitation, but if one concentrates on hearing, he will be forced to associate with the sound vibration of Kṛṣṇa. Kṛṣṇa and the sound vibration Kṛṣṇa are non-different. So if one loudly vibrates Hare Kṛṣṇa, he will be able to think of Kṛṣṇa immediately. This process of chanting is the best process of self-realization in this age. Therefore, Lord Caitanya preached it so nicely for the benefit of all humanity." I added to a section of this paper I'm writing about Prabhupāda's statement that chanting japa is 'forced meditation.' And in one sense, we consider that the name has force: nāmnām akāri bahudhā nija-sarva-śaktis. There's śakti in the name. So it's not simply mindfulness, but it's direct association with Kṛṣṇa, who has his own power and his own agenda. ------------------------------------------------------------ To connect with His Grace Vaiśeṣika Dāsa, please visit https://www.fanthespark.com/next-steps/ask-vaisesika-dasa/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Add to your wisdom literature collection: https://iskconsv.com/book-store/ https://www.bbtacademic.com/books/ https://thefourquestionsbook.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Join us live on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FanTheSpark/ Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sound-bhakti/id1132423868 For the latest videos, subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@FanTheSpark For the latest in SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/fan-the-spark ------------------------------------------------------------ #makejapagreatagain #mantrameditation #chantharekrishnaandbehapy #spiritualawakening #soul #spiritualexperience #spiritualpurposeoflife #spiritualgrowthlessons #secretsofspirituality #vaisesikaprabhu #vaisesikadasa #vaisesikaprabhulectures #spirituality #bhaktiyoga #krishna #spiritualpurposeoflife #krishnaspirituality #spiritualusachannel #whybhaktiisimportant #whyspiritualityisimportant #vaisesika #spiritualconnection #thepowerofspiritualstudy #selfrealization #spirituallectures #spiritualstudy #spiritualquestions #spiritualquestionsanswered #trendingspiritualtopics #fanthespark #spiritualpowerofmeditation #spiritualteachersonyoutube #spiritualhabits #spiritualclarity #bhagavadgita #srimadbhagavatam #spiritualbeings #kttvg #keepthetranscendentalvibrationgoing #spiritualpurpose

Jaya Radha Madhava | HG Vaisesika Dasa | ISV | 06 Dec 2025

(1) jaya rādhā-mādhava kuñja-bihārī gopī-jana-vallabha giri-vara-dhārī (2) yaśodā-nandana braja-jana-rañjana yāmuna-tīra-vana-cārī TRANSLATION 1) Krsna is the lover of Radha. He displays many amorous pastimes in the groves of Vrndavana, He is the lover of the cowherd maidens of Vraja, and the holder of the great hill named Govardhana. 2) He is the beloved son of mother Yasoda, the delighter of the inhabitants of Vraja, and He wanders in the forests along the banks of the River Yamuna! Remarks: Srila Prabhupada was very fond of this sort and sang it just before his lectures. In Allahabad and Gorakhpur, Srila Prabhupada fell into a trance after singing the first two lines, and after some time he came back into external consciousness and said, "Now just chant Hare Krsna." Srila Prabhupada said that this song is "a picture of Vrndavana. Everything is there--Srimati Radharani, Vrndavana, Govardhana, Yasoda, and all the cowherd boys."
