Have you noticed? Sin is not what it used to be! And this is a fulfillment of Jesus prophecy in Matthew 24:12: "Because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold." The Greek conveys: "Because lawlessness--a disregard of God's Word--shall abound, many shall gradually lose their love for biblical truth, making sin a minor issue."Our Christian world is bombarded with sermonettes of grace and favor, to the extent that if you preach against sin, you are labeled a Pharisee and legalist. This has opened the floodgates to allow sin to run rampant in the Church, including the Ministry. It's time to call sin what it is. It's the only way to get free and stay free. As children of God we have been "begotten again by the incorruptible seed of the Word of God", but do you know that we have also been adopted into God's family? In Roman times, adoption was a legal process whereby a person became heir to all the wealth privileges of his father's family. But it gets better! God has sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts whereby we cry "Abba Father." This is an Aramaic term of endearment equivalent to "Dear Daddy." Find out what all this means for you! Jesus chose ordinary fishermen as disciples they quickly saw that with Him they took in great hauls of fish. But He called them to be fishers of men when they threw out the Gospel net, they brought in great hauls of souls.But big game fish must be caught with hook the right bait. It fights very hard the fisherman has to give it enough line but hold onto the rod till the fish tires gives up. It's the same with many unsaved who put up a huge fight, but if we will not let go of the rod, the Word of God, give them some line, they will eventually come in.
