Les Thatcher and Phil Rainey bring you the broadcast of Southeastern Championship Wrestling, as it aired live in WBIR studios in Knoxville, Tennessee on July 28, 1978. This is the audio recording of the actual video featured on our YouTube channel. We recognize that not all podcasters like YouTube and not all YouTubers enjoy podcasting. We provide audio gems from the YouTube to our followers that need to have the content on a hands-free device. It doesn't matter whether you are going for a jog, walking your dog, delivering milk or have a long commute and are stuck in traffic. Podcasts are about your convenience and if we can provide you with content to get your day going or make it more enjoyable, than it's worth the time to post it. Thank you so much for being a part of this Southeastern Rewind experience. If you would like to check out any of our video content, feel free to like/subscribe/share us on our YOUTUBE CHANNEL.
Southeastern Rewind is a YouTube Channel devoted to covering professional wrestling : Southeastern Championship Wrestling (Knoxville), Continental Championship Wrestling and Southeastern - Pensacola. We've met some amazing people on this journey and Les Thatcher sent us a previously unaired pilot episode of a segment, called "Wrestler's Eye View". This is a semi-shoot interview with Terry Funk and Dory Funk, Jr. that talks about a wide variety of topics and their ideas about the future of professional wrestling (from 1994). It's a fascinating introspective look at 2 legendary NWA World Champions. There's several discussions with the production crew and a few silenced pauses as they re-set the cameras during the filming.  If you liked this audio, feel free to check us out on YouTube for even more offerings. https://youtube.com/SoutheasternRewind Thanks again for listening and we look forward to posting more episodes in the future.
