Been a couple updates in the life of being a new mom and Gigi. Life has been a lot for us lately and we are still recovering from a summer that has had a lot of ups and downs. We both are introverts but come across as extroverts but we are our happiest when we are just sitting on the couch recording our podcast while the baby naps these days.
A few notes and updates with Brittany's bio dad, obviously more to come on that, but for now its best we take a hiatus on that topics.
Enjoy learned the in's and out's of our life now of days featuring Brittany's new eyelash extensions. But those too are a mystery!

Life the last few months has been crazy busy with having a 6 month old taking over both our lives, huge moves in Brittany's career outside the podcast, and the never ending drama from family! We go there!

So we have been slacking on updating you all about our life. This was previously recorded in April and we are just now getting it out. Sorry for the unexplained hiatus as being a new mom and a full time caregiver to the newest memeber of the family has made staying up to date with the podcast nearly impossible.

We are back to recording episodes now that Brittany has given birth and the baby is now here, in a routine and sleeping longer stretches of time for us to record and edit episodes. We are so excited to share this milestone of the birth of Brittany's first born and Shannon's first grandchild.

Wow is this episode packed with all things Southerland Girls! A birthday recap, the magical Christmas outings we've done so far and the royal documentary that it seems like no one is talking about, but you all should be!
Brittany talks about her 29th birthday and all the details of the day celebrating her last year of her 20's. Listen about all the beautiful details from the weekend of Brittany's aunt's wedding in Temecula. It was such a beautiful night and wedding and we are just so happy to celebrate love. Family weddings are the best because you get to see all extended family all together, it's like a family reunion.

Talk about a busy weekend that was jam packed with family time for thanksgiving, we hosted friendsgiving at our new home, and a 10 year high school reunion - featuring Woody and his hilarious side of the weekend.
Come along for the ride of our family traditions, new traditions and a wild night of seeing people we went to high school with and seeing how much people have changed in 10 years. Did we mention Brittany was the only pregnant woman at the reunion.

We made it to 50 episodes and somehow no one has cancelled us or called us on the phone screaming, but we did get a couple rage texts... but what's the fun in all of this without getting a couple ugly texts while talking about your crazy family members, using code names to talk about people you may or may not be frenemies with and all the crazy ideas we talked about doing or changing in our lives along these 50 episodes.
