Upcoming Indie Hip/Hop-Rap Artist form Hattiesburg,MS I started writing poetry that turned into a book and later used my poetry to write songs. I First turned my poetry into a book which was Colors of Blue Shades of Black available on Amazon and Barnes and Noble that I released in Earlier this year. I wrote poetry since the age of 10 years old or younger. It helped me with my life and dealing with depression as I aged. I started to turn my poetry into music. Once I got lessons on how to play the piano, guitar and drums, and I later used that as a key and starting making beats and then into writing music. I got my stage name DaphoDILL from my love of flowers. That being said having faith the size of a mustard seed. Daffodils are the first flower to bloom during the Spring signifying new beginnings. Think of having faith the size of a mustard seed. How flowers grow from this tiny little seed, and get withered and weathered by the storm, and builds these thorns to protect it, and eventually blossoms into something so beautiful to what cannot see with the naked eye. I released a few singles this year to be included All Facts ft. Zaytoven, which was created about remembering who you are and not letting anyone get you out of your character.

Kage Cheadle, , is an American Rapper. Born in Killeen, Tx on April 4th, 1990, Kage grew up moving around a lot due to a military stepfather.Kage did his first performance at 19 years old at a place called Coaches in Fayetteville. He then released a few mixtapes called "Winter Warm-Up", "Bad Newz", "Don't Judge Me", and "Jakkin Yo Beatz". But It wasn't until He released "No Sleep" in 2011 that he started turning heads in the Fayetteville music scene. Four months after the release of "No Sleep", Kage would start working with Fayetteville based Record Label "Da Real Young Rich". It was there that he learned the most about the music business and how to record properly. With plenty of live performances under his belt and a new found buzz he released "No Sleep 2: The Struggle" in 2013. This new mixtape from Kage was gaining a lot of speed and selling fast but the success was short-lived. In March 2014 Kage would be arrested for Armed Robbery stemming from a home invasion. Kage received 66 months for the crime and was released in September 2019. While incarcerated Kage wrote songs almost everyday, coming home with several notebooks filled with lyrics. A couple of loyal friends put him in the studio to record after he was released. While incarcerated Kage came up with an alias that he felt described him called "Tommy Gun Teddy". Tommy Gun Teddy was just an idea for a chain while incarcerated, but when Kage was free he figured why not make this into a whole project and movement. It was then in 2020 that he announced his Album would be entitled "Tommy Gun Teddy" and he created a "Tommy Gun Teddy" Mascot that goes everywhere with him. "Tommy Gun Teddy" The Album was released June 25th 2021.

9ine

9ine

2021-07-1423:01

Relentless in the pursuit of his dreams, 9ine's "never give up" attitude is not simply the fuel that feeds his artistic fire. It's also the reason this New Orleans native is poised to benefit from an expansion in the hip hop universe that mirrors rock music in the 1970's. Constantly evolving since its inception, adapting to changes in it's environment, the structure of rap is not only fostering contemporaneous innovation, but has cemented a foundation atop 40 years of maturation. Fully capable of attracting the youngest of music lovers, emboldened by artists such as 2 Chainz and Benny The Butcher, both of whom achieved superstar status well after their 30th birthdays, 9ine understands that time is no longer his enemy. 9ine's education in music started early, learning to play trumpet and baritone in elementary school. In an environment where future doctors and future killers marched side by side, playing in the band was a way of life, rather than a focal point for criticism like in many cities. At 12, 9ine found himself transcribing, memorizing and performing all of his favorite rap songs, as if he were running his own boot camp for future superstars. Inspired by the production of Cash Money's Mannie Fresh, encouraged by America embracing the New Orleans sound, 9ine found the voice that he's been projecting ever since. Imprisoned by a sentiment that was widespread, if not pervasive, 9ine's intellect was held captive all through middle and high school. Rather than a badge of honor, he perceived his intelligence as a social impediment, alienating him from his peers. Rather than academic discussions in a classroom setting, 9ine preferred conversing with the neighborhood winos, citing the ambient rhythm of their storytelling as a major influence on his lyricism. At the same time, unwilling to volunteer himself to the streets that claimed the lives and freedom of so many in his purview, he navigated his way to a high school diploma. At the same time, unwilling to volunteer himself to the streets that claimed the lives and freedom of so many in his purview, he navigated his way to a high school diploma. Cerebral to his core, 9ine parlayed his dialysis treatment into a career opportunity. The medical staff took notice of his inquisitive nature and felt obliged to satisfy his curiosity. That, in conjunction with familial connections in the New Orleans medical system, 9ine secured a position as a hemodialysis technician, avoiding the 18-24 months of education that is normally required. His music being no different, 9ine is just as much a student of the arts, approaching the study of his craft with the same rigor he aimed at his personal health. Though skilled at jumping hurdles, 9ine has never taken his eyes off the finish line. Instead, he's more content with erasing the line, extending the boundary and pushing himself a little harder each day. Never settling for less, the opportunities he's seized are nothing more than means to an end of a microphone. The consummate optimist, life's challenges are nothing more than detours that decorate the map of his life's journey. Authentic as a masterpiece on display at the Lourve, 9ine's music not only has a message so pure that even deaf ears can grasp it, but a vibe that represents the true spirit of New Orleans. Rap music has long been defined by stories of struggle, success, pain, joy, death and life. 9ine not only embodies the essence of the art, he exemplifies it's substance, it's meaning and it's real...
