The only measure by which Aaron Rodgers is a .500 quarterback is if you only include last season and the current season, during which time he is 10-10-1. But since it was phrased as though we were using the quarterbacks' records since Cam Newton went to the Super Bowl, the numbers are Newton with a 23-23 record, while Rogers has a 24-19-1 record. Not a huge difference, except for the fact that Newton's record only includes one winning season since 2015 while Rogers' so far includes three. The difference that counts, of course, is the fact that in the current season Rodgers has a 4-1 record, while Newton has lost the last eight games he has started. Some people really shouldn't be allowed to try to use statistics.

I defy anyone to identify someone who introduces more flawed and analogies and irrelevant statistics into an argument then does Marcellus Wiley.

I love me some Whitlock, but there's not a single one of those storylines that is going to drive ratings for the NBA next season. It is true what has been said by several people who care more about the NBA than I do: It is a player - not a league. If there is not a LeBron or a Michael or a Shaq or a Magic or a Bird, no casual sports fan gives a s*** about the NBA, and the rise and fall of ratings in all major league sports relies on the casual fan.

Now I understand why they brought in Stephen Jackson this week. It was to drag the panel's cumulative IQ down to what it was on Monday when Whitlock wasn't in.

You got to love it! The question gets asked about LeBron and everyone who replied completely ignored the question and made excuses for LeBron. Then, of course, they bleat about how people shouldn't be obsessing over the playoffs with LeBron, and immediately Follow That by mentioning how many straight playoffs finals LeBron had been too. At least they added Gottlieb for a while so they could double the IQ of the room. And I don't even agree with Gottlieb half of the time. But at least he demonstrates the ability to think.

The audio needs to be adjusted so the commercials aren't significantly louder than the show.
