In this special episode of “All Facts No Brakes,” Super Bowl champion Keyshawn Johnson and NBA legend Paul Pierce reunite at Keyshawn's alma mater, Susan Miller Dorsey High School in South LA. The two reflect on their shared roots in the heart of Los Angeles, discussing the challenges they faced growing up just 5 miles apart in neighborhoods where gang and sports culture often went hand in hand.
Paul shares his journey from Inglewood to the University of Kansas, explaining why he had to leave LA to pursue his dreams. He opens up about playing for the Boston Celtics after growing up a Lakers fan and how the experience helped him understand who his true friends really were. The two also reminisce about the first time they heard each other’s names and how they eventually crossed paths at a USC party.
Things get competitive when they test their athletic skills—Paul tries to make a field goal, while Keyshawn takes a shot at a 3-pointer. The episode wraps up with valuable advice for the current Dorsey High School football team and an impactful conversation between Keyshawn and his high school football coach, Darryl Holmes.
Join Keyshawn and Paul for an unforgettable journey back to their roots, a celebration of their hard-earned success, and a look at the deep bonds that have shaped their careers.

It sounds interesting that the Speak podcast compiles highlights from a sports discussion show. While I don't typically follow sports commentary, the format of curated snippets could be a good way to catch up on the hottest topics or hear interesting takes from the https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/best-mba-essay-writing-services-top-5-legit-sites-reviewed-walton-rc4ne hosts. Especially if Emmanuel Acho, LeSean McCoy and Joy Taylor are known for their insightful or entertaining commentary.
why do your episodes load a day late. love the show just sucks come out at night not after they air on tv
Has Cam been underappreciated this season? I don't know. I think we adequately gauge just how sucky he is.
The fact that there are almost no comments on this pod since Whitlock left speaks volumes. If George Floyd hadn't happened, the show would already have been "re-tooled."
@fs1 #pushingfakenews
Man! Without Whitlock there, it becomes painfully obvious what a loose relationship Marcellus has with facts, logic, and the English language, doesn't it? It's not like we didn't know, but without Whitlock's eloquence peppered in there to break up the ignorance, things devolve into something that's a bit too hard to take.
@jasonwhitlock must have been forced to take off. so @fs1 could keep up with @espn to be the wokest in the industry!#learnfacts #donttrustthefakenews

#getwokegobroke
What a surprise! Marcellus once again gives us the misleading statement about Dak Prescott having the second most wins since he came into the league. What he doesn't say, is that he is tied for second place, that if not for injuries to two other quarterbacks he would be tied for 4th / 5th place, that the list of quarterbacks eligible for the list is only about seven or eight names long, and that his win total is not just a couple of wins out of first place, it is 7 wins out of first place. And had Tom Brady not been suspended Prescott would be 10 wins out of first place. Pointing out that Prescott has the second most wins since coming into the league is like bragging on Jalen hurts for being second in the Heisman voting.
I knew in this conversation that eventually Marcellus would not be able to resist bringing up that b******* about Dak Prescott having the second most wins as a starting quarterback since being in the league. Just like pretending that Cam Newton "was an MVP contender before he got hurt," he can't let this misleading stat go. While it is technically true that Dak is tied with Russell Wilson with the second most wins, he is nowhere remotely close to first place. He's SEVEN wins shy of Brady's total over just a few years. And had Brady not been suspended and Brees and Roethlisberger not missed a time with injuries, Brady would likely be 10 wins ahead of Prescott and Dak and Wilson would be tied for 4/5 place. Now consider the fact that there are only a handful of quarterbacks who have had starting jobs for the last four seasons. So how impressed should I be with a guy who is basically fourth or fifth likely to lead a team to victory on a list of 7 or 8 players? Perspective is something tha
As for Cam being in the MVP conversation when he was 6-2 a couple of seasons ago - setting aside, of course, the fact that three or four of those wins were against teams that finished the season at the bottom of their divisions - Newton was in the MVP conversation about as much as Jalen Hurts was in the Heisman Trophy conversation at the end of the regular season this past year. Pat Mahomes was already head and shoulders above Newton statistically across-the-board at that point. At best, the conversation was, "I guess if Patrick Mahomes dies in a bus crash, Cam Newton could maybe become MVP."
I have to hand it to Marcellus. Rather than coming to his senses about Cam Newton he just continues to ask for a bigger shovel. It is true that SOME quarterbacks play into their forties now. Although if you actually look at the statistics very few do. Those who do are quarterbacks who have shown that they are intelligent. Newton has never shown that. In fact even during his MVP season it was pointed out that he still had trouble ascertaining what is going on in the field once he gets inside the red zone when things are more congested. And an intelligent quarterback would have been able to win ONE of those half-dozen games he lost after allegedly being injured so badly that his season should have ended. I say allegedly because no team would throw a quarterback out there for a half-dozen starts just to see if he can work through an injury if it was THAT serious. Also, the narrative when Norv Turner came to town was not that Newton wouldn't be able to do the job. The narrative was actuall
Once again, Marcellus tonguing the taint of Cam Newton for some reason. Yes, he was 6-2 before the injury that allegedly should have sidelined him for the rest of the season. But if you truly have that kind of injury, you don't then go out for another half-dozen games and just see how things work out. He had an injury that people regularly play through and managed to lose every single game that he started during that stretch. He then continued to lose when he found his way back on the field. And of those six games that he did win, 3-4 of them were against teams that finished at the bottom of their divisions that season. Just a little perspective since Marcellus is deliberately not providing it.
So Peyton Manning's transition to Denver wasn't smooth because it took four years to win the Super Bowl? He was 38-10 the first three seasons there with a Super Bowl appearance and an MVP. Only one team can win the Super Bowl each year. I'm pretty sure things went fairly smoothly for Peyton Manning transitioning to Denver.
Marcellus is absolutely right. Football is a contact sport. The issue is that every time someone makes contact with Tua, he gets injured. It's not about the severity of the injuries. It's about the frequency of the injuries.
And once again, not only does Marcellus toss aside all of the realities of what teams could possibly take Cam Newton, but he again lies about how good Cam Newton was performing at the time that he allegedly became injured. He was not in the MVP race when he was 6-2 that season. And then he lost every game after that. He has not won a single game since being 6-2. I think it's up to something like eight or 10 straight losses in games that he started as quarterback. Are we supposed to believe that he was Willis Reed every one of those games, dragging a broken and abused body out there when they could have just brought in a backup quarterback after a couple of those games? You don't keep putting a guy out there game after game if he is not able to perform the job given the injuries he has. Every quarterback gets dinged up. I won't necessarily question the severity of the injuries but I will question the assertion that he would have been allowed to have gone out on the field that many times
It is sad to me that Whitlock believes that Dan Wetzel is the best columnist today. Wetzel's personal agendas regularly interfere with his ability to deliver an unbiased account of issues. In this case, there are rules against paying players and players' families. You are supposed to follow them. If players do not want to be playing for free, they don't have to play college basketball. There is no law or rule requiring them to do so. This argument that the only people who are amateurs are people not good enough to get paid to do what they do is garbage. If you don't want to feel as though you're "free" labor is being exploited, don't play college sports. This is not a difficult concept to grasp. It does not make the NCAA evil because it has a rule with which you disagree. No one is holding a gun to anyone's head in all of this. Also, it doesn't matter what laws they pass in California or any other state regarding compensating athletes. The NCAA has its rules. If schools choose to not f
Re: Dak Prescott - What parts of the roster were missing last season that resulted in the Cowboys not being able to make the playoffs out of one of the worst divisions in football? As for Dak having the second most wins since he became a starter, what Marsellus never adds is that Dak's second-place finish is a full SEVEN wins out of first place (and it would probably be 10 were it not for Brady's suspension), amid a cluster of other quarterbacks. Had it not been for injuries to Brees, Rodgers and Roethlisberger, Dak would be tied for fourth place on that list with Russell Wilson (and possibly Rodgers) and there aren't many other quarterbacks in the entire league who have even been their team's starters over the last four years. Take away injuries, and Dak is maybe in a three-way tie for fourth on a list of seven, WAY out of first.
