Mark Martin, born in Batesville, AK and a NASCAR Hall of Famer. Mark's talent and endless work ethic skyrocketed his racing career, that began in 1974, and in only seven years led to a five race NASCAR CUP Series schedule in 1981. Through that time, Mark had incredible success in ASA and at the short track level, collecting wins at some of the most prestigious races and winning championships against who he calls the "gods" of racing. We discuss the highs and lows of Mark's first journey to the CUP Series, how he reestablished himself in short track racing and an eventual return to NASCAR. Mark talks about "Never Lift", his book that he spent the past five years writing. "Never Lift" is now available for purchase.
