I had the pleasure of meeting Hyda in Colorado while speaking at the No Limits Ranch retreat in June. We hit it off right away and went off exploring the woods on a hike within hours of meeting each other. She has a gentle spirit in tune with nature, and honors God’s creation with her whole heart. We filled several, equalling the “thousands” I mentioned. 😉 And – no, I haven’t planted 100,000 personally – I’ve planted thousands, and we (Newby’s Evergreen Farms) have planted over 100,000!|GOLD NUGGETS:– Immersing in scripture helped create an eternal perspective and see himself as God sees him.– Retrain your mind and strike down the enemy by posting the scriptures everywhere so they become your dominant thoughts.– “Tent-making” can provide the funds and confidence to pursue your true passions.– Things start to soar when we trust others to take care of the “off-purpose” or “off-strength” areas of your business. Letting go of total control allows you to work ON the business rather than IN it, which is a CEOmindset, rather than an employee mindset.– Sharing your story in the seemingly small encounters in your life and business can create the transformation you’re called to create. Don’t wait until signs and wonders follow you – do it now!– It’s a spiritual principle that you become what you’re focusing on, so be intentional about what you set before your eyes and ears.– God does his best work with us when we surrender our agenda and plan for the day to him. Making a plan is just your ticket to play. She went from misery to so much joy and laughter that her jaw hurts at night! ;-) When people look at her and see she’s still standing after everything she’s been through, they think there’s hope for them too.GOLD NUGGETS:The antidote for depression, despair, suicidal ideation, substance abuse disorder, and PTSD is real, authentic genuine love in our lives.Life circumstances that diminish love in our lives wound us deeply because they hit our soul, our worth.Staying “safe” in the smallness: Don’t take up too much space, don’t breathe too much air, don’t eat too much, keep your head down - all LIES of the enemy!Bad relationships harm us and good, healthy relationships heal us.The “innocence” of how kids get trafficked.Our young people are our best hope for the future.Happiness is not about chasing stuff!Whatever path you’ve walked, you’re now qualified to help the people coming from where you used to be.Own whatever hard thing you’ve been through so you can help others. Don’t bury it.
