Growth isn't usually comfortable. God uses discipline, honesty, and surrender to shape us into people who reflect His character. It's a challenging process, but it shapes us into who we are meant to be.

Our prayers are the way we communicate with God. They are how we share our feelings, fears, and desires with him. He answers our prayers. The thing about answered prayers, though, is that they don’t always look like answered prayers. They don’t always look like we thought they’d look. How do we learn to see God’s activity in our lives? How do we learn to pray with different expectations?
