Awesome straight ally Claire McIntyre talks with Michelle and Dylan of the incredible work done in support of the Yes campaign by a determined small group of ladies, and their families, distributing posters into shops and small businesses in the Melbourne suburbs. About the trials and knock backs they encountered and what they learnt about attitudes and behaviours.
Joined by Gina, they talked of the incredible work by Rainbow Families‘ Jac Tomlins in promoting the group “YES poster walking Ladies”. Jac and Claire are part of Gina’s soccer mams. Michelle nominated Jac as her Ally of the Week.

Rebeckah, a host of JOY 94.9’s video series “Transmission” talks with the team of her amazing journey to be the inspirational ally she is. The first transgender committee member of GLOBE Melbourne in 25 years as Diversity Director she has a pivotal role in promoting diversity and inclusion in the wider community.
She is a recruitment consultant in the Working Out program of Sensewise, a job support service for members of the LGBTIQ community.
The story of her exciting journey includes Sydney, transition, London, mangoes and other fruits and cabbage patch dolls.
She discusses the impact of family, dating, disclosure, privilege and passing in her life. She has acted in a Netflix series and other videos.
