Growing up, the phrase "you are what you eat" was quite common. Usually, it was used to encourage people to eat a healthier diet. A diet consisting primarily of junk food usually results in a poor quality of health; on the other hand, a diet consisting primarily of fruits and vegetables usually results in a better quality of health. Whether we believe it or not, the same can be said of our walk with God.
We are all guilty of taking God for granted at some point and time. What we have to realize is that yes, we are under grace, but God is still a God of judgement.
It is very important that we learn not to pick and choose scriptures to go with continuing in sin. You agree with one scripture but you don’t agree with the next, that makes you a Picky Eater. You are in danger of hell fire when you are a picky eater when it comes to the Word of God. We must eat the whole roll and not pick and choose what fits our own narrative.
Grace is often used as an excuse to continue in sin. The Word of God says differently.
