Description
Status tells the human stories that immigration impacts.
Somebody might be in the US on an E-1, an H-1B, a J-2, or an F-1. They might be undocumented or they may have their green card. They might be moving to Canada for a job or to the UK to escape violence in their home country.
In any case, every immigrant has a story. We tell those stories and how the complex reality of immigration weaves its way into the narrative.
Status is produced by Matt Horton.

For as long as I’ve known him, Jonatan has been talking about writing a book. He says he could never write it himself, but he wants to find someone to interview him and write down his life story.I don’t write books. That’s not my game. But I make podcasts, and largely due to loving him, the stories I tell are often about people like him.Listen to Part 1 of the story that inspired Status. Hosted on Acast. What is DACA? Easy. It is a ploy by the democrats to swell their numbers by allowing ILLEGAL aliens to remain in this country. Despite how this soy-boy commentator tries to sidestep the facts, DACA is an unconstitutional act perpetrated by an overreaching president, played off by a sympathetic media covering for the Democratic party. Regardless of party affiliation, every gutless politician who chooses to ignore how wrong this is for the sake of staying in power needs to be taken to task and be required to tow the line, not create new BS laws to placate the ignorance of the masses.
