Description
Stay In The Sun is a bi-weekly audio series from the POV of two Caribbean American M.S.W. (Master's of Social Work) millennials Toni (@FatBlackLuxury) and Alexis (@FromAlexisNicole) who met while working on behalf of Black and Brown women & femmes. After building sisterhood, engaging in much needed turn ups, culture dialogue, and shared truths, Toni and Alexis decided to share these thoughts and create a space for some Black girl politicking and joy. Listen as Toni and Alexis give culturally responsive commentary on news, music, politics, current events, scholarship, and whatever our personal lives throw at us. In each episode we’ll dive into aspects of our identities and will engage in conversation on what it’s like navigating life as a Black millennial. There will be plenty of laughs, cultural colloquialisms, and guests who will be able to provide more to the conversation.Hopefully you'll grow with us and we'll grow with you!
