Description
Faithfully living out the great commission to make disciples of Jesus can feel overwhelming. Where do I begin with my lost family, friends, and neighbors? What should I say? What if they ask questions I don’t know the answer to? If you struggle to share the gospel joyfully, consistently, and confidently? You’re not alone. Take a journey with us as we engage in practical discussions on relationship evangelism, one step at a time! Stepping Stones is a new podcast of Living Hope Church in Shrewsbury, PA, hosted by one of our elders, Chris Repp.

This is the second week talking with two young ladies from Living Hope who are answering the call of the great commission to go into all the world. It's fascinating. When did they first feel Gods call? How are they preparing to go? How does their family feel about it? Why are they going? Have they thought about the potential to face danger and suffering? If so, why is it all worth the risk to them? Tune in, and be inspired to be a sender or even a goer yourself.

This week, I had the pleasure of interviewing Cody Steele. Cody is a skilled electrician with a heart for sharing Jesus through his work. I was inspired by his intentional approach—not only striving for excellence in his trade but also looking for meaningful opportunities to share his faith with the people he serves. It’s part 2 of a powerful conversation you won’t want to miss!

Powerful testimonies are built on three key elements:Personal Stories Emotional ImpactScripture that Resonates When combined, these elements create a testimony the Holy Spirit can use to touch the hearts of your unsaved family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, and classmates. Below, I’ll share a bit more about each element, followed by an example from a sermon I preached last summer. I hope it encourages you to take the step and share your story!Resources: Listen to LHC's "Church Witness" Message on Apple Podcasts or Spotify
Nobody wants to hear a dull, mechanical retelling of your life. However, when you share from the heart—expressing the struggles you’ve faced and how God has transformed you—it becomes truly powerful! This week, we’ll explore how to reflect on the many ways God has shaped your life and, through prayer, discover how to share those transformative stories with others.Resources: https://igniteamerica.com/
In home on a regular leather repair job, having casual conversation with my customer. Until, I asked about her kids and she started to tear up. I realized God had me here for more than just work!
You know when a book just really speaks to you? That's what happened to me with this one: Ignite your Life by Barry McGuiar. This week I take a few minutes to give my thoughts on the most recent Living Hope Blog, "How to talk to a Nonbeliever" , by Tim Dance. I love it! It's full of practical insight, powerful scripture and motivation for you and me to take the next steps, and have a gospel conversation with a friend, family member, neighbor, co-worker or classmate. Go read it after listening to my review.
