On this episode of the Stop Chasing Pain Podcast, Dr. Perry Nickelston sits down with Dr. Nasha Winters, a global thought leader in integrative oncology and author of The Metabolic Approach to Cancer. Together, they dive into the revolutionary framework Dr. Winters has developed to help patients and practitioners alike rethink cancer care. This conversation explores how metabolic health, bio-individualized therapies, and the power of nutrition can shift the way we approach prevention, treatment, and long-term healing. Highlights from Dr. Winters’ book include: How cancer is not just a genetic disease but a metabolic one, deeply tied to cellular energy and mitochondrial function. The role of the ketogenic diet and therapeutic nutrition in starving cancer cells while nourishing healthy tissues. The impact of toxin exposure and why reducing environmental and lifestyle stressors is key to healing. The importance of balancing the terrain—hormones, inflammation, immune function, microbiome, and emotional resilience. Using bio-individualized therapies—tailoring interventions to each person’s unique biology rather than a one-size-fits-all model. Why building metabolic flexibility and resilience isn’t just for cancer patients, but a roadmap for all of us who want to live healthier, longer, more vibrant lives. This episode is a must-listen if you want to understand the future of cancer care through the lens of whole-body healing. Website for Dr. Winters Book Purchase here

Dr. Emily Splichal returns as a guest to discuss her transformative journey—from conventional surgical training to pioneering sensory-based, functional podiatry—and to introduce her new book, Sensory Sapiens. In it, she presents a sensory-centric framework for movement that champions the foot (and entire sensory system) as the key to longevity, balance, and injury prevention. Notably, she details how our body’s sensory intelligence—specifically through textured stimulation of the feet—enhances balance and proprioception; how foot stimulation supports bone density and even brain health by activating deeper tissues and circulation; how sensory stacking—layering various sensory inputs into movement practices—supercharges rehabilitation and performance; and how everyday contact with gravity as a “sensory hug” grounds and recalibrates both body and nervous system. Sensory Sapiens offers a compelling, research-backed blueprint for anyone wanting to age well and move better, organically and holistically. Dr. Emily Splichal is a functional podiatrist and human movement specialist who initially trained as a surgeon at Beth Israel Medical Center (NYC) and Mt. Vernon Hospital before shifting in 2017 to a practice grounded in functional and regenerative medicine s She’s founder and CEO of Naboso, a sensory-technology company devoted to awakening the nervous system via the feet—and soon the hands—with textured products and neuro-stimulators. A globally recognized leader in barefoot science, she has educated over 25,000 professionals across 35 countries and created the Barefoot Training Specialist® certification and EBFA Global. She is also the author of Barefoot Strong and now Sensory Sapiens, continuing her mission to help people move better and live longer by reconnecting with their sensory selves. The thoracic spine is one of the most overlooked keys to resolving chronic neck and back pain. Acting as the central anchor between the cervical and lumbar regions, it influences posture, breathing, rib motion, and spinal stability. When the thoracic spine becomes stiff or restricted, the neck and lower back are forced to compensate, often leading to overuse, tension, and pain. Because it’s deeply connected to the ribcage and diaphragm, thoracic mobility also affects circulation, lymphatic flow, and nervous system balance. In other words, if you only treat the painful areas without restoring movement and pressure balance through the thoracic spine, the cycle of chronic pain continues. It’s not just a middle piece of the spine—it’s the missing link in many healing journeys. Joint By Joint Video Here

In this episode Dr. Perry speaks with John White, the Founder of 'Spooky2 Rife' and 'aha halo' frequency therapy devices. We discuss how they help you in your recovery from chronic inflammation. I have used frequency medicine for years in healing from my chronic pain and inflammation. It is a fundamental part of my therapy programs personally and professionally. Here are five key ideas that make this therapy so powerful. 🔹 1. Every Cell Has Its Own Frequency Your body is like a giant radio tower. Every organ, every tissue, every cell sends out a frequency. When you're healthy, those frequencies are clean and coherent. When you're in pain or dealing with chronic issues, that signal gets distorted—just like static on the radio. 🔹 2. Illness = Frequency Distortion Think of toxins, trauma, infections, and stress as noise. They disrupt your body’s natural communication. Bioresonance picks up on that distorted noise and helps recalibrate it—like tuning your instrument back to perfect pitch. 🔹 3. Resonance is the Language of Healing This therapy works by sending corrective frequencies that ‘match’ the healthy version of your cells. When those frequencies resonate, your body remembers what balance feels like—and starts to move back toward it. It’s a reset for your biofield. 🔹 4. Information Transfer, Not Medication We’re giving your body a signal—a message. It’s subtle, but powerful. Frequencies are transmitted through the body’s own electromagnetic field to influence how cells behave. This is quantum biology in action. 🔹 5. Your Body Already Knows How to Heal "Bioresonance doesn’t heal you. You do. This therapy just clears the energetic gunk so your self-regulating systems can wake up and do what they’re designed to do. It's like clearing a clogged river so flow returns. If you’ve been chasing pain for years, maybe it’s time to stop and listen to the frequency your body’s trying to broadcast. Healing doesn’t always roar—it sometimes whispers. Bioresonance helps you hear it.
