Todd Aydelotte is considered a ‘Historical Runner’ where he runs ultra-marathons that follow the paths of historical people. During the quarantine he took on the challenge of running over 1,000 laps in this apartment to help raise money for the Bowery Mission, who are helping people receive food and help, especially in this time of crisis. Please consider supporting the Bowery Mission through Todd’s fundraising page. https://my.bowery.org/BoweryMissionHallwayMarathon
I hope everyone is staying healthy and sound. This episode was record at the beginning of February and our guest takes a Buddhist-based approach to cultivate mindfulness through the practice of running - which included falling asleep during an ultra-marathon. You might want to check out his site and his meditations especially during these times to help you focus on what’s important and feel more at ease. We're gonna call this one #luciddreaming #mindfulness.
