my trick for short showers is to wash my hair in the sink first. Our tap uses less water and i can use colder water to save on fuel for heating the water. I'll towel dry my hair after shampooing, then put my conditioner in, cover it with a shower cap and leave it to work for half an hour. then i will take a shower to wash the rest of my body and rinse out my hair. Takes like 3 minutes.
