thanks for a great discussion the "sticky" aspect below an ERM may be what is known as epiretinal proliferation. It classically is with lamellar holes but can be seen FTHMs and ERMs. When this is present there is a much lower FTMH closure rate too. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31104985/ keep up the great work!
