Insane ending. Not in a fun way either.
To save the trouble for anyone about to start this series. It is a truly wild ride. Solid production value throughout. The ending is incredibly out of left field though and it feels like the writing gets really incoherent in the later half. Gets surprisingly religious in a kind of forced way. Not very long so its not a major time sink but I still wouldn't recommend listening. For a different mystery audio drama, I recommend Blum.
did this inspire A Voice From Darkness or vice versa? I just started and I can't get over the similarities. either way, I'm very glad I discovered this because I just learned AVFD is ending and I have Strange Air 🤙
fun fact: the big bang theory comes from a jesuit priest. science and religion were never enemies.... just a dialectic.
Umm... Ew? Not to mention the expectations which will be placed upon, well, no spoilers.
Fantastic!!!
bad pun. awful
Fantastic light hearted, fun and well produced Mystery i really enjoyed it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Premise is great & I was really interested to see how the story progressed, BUT- Chase is a terrible, selfish, dense character & it's really difficult to care what happens to her. I barely made it thru the whole show b/c she is just so awful. The cheese factor in the writing didn't help matters either. If you're looking for a show about a daughter searching for answers about her father, check out 'How It Ends'. That show is everything this one wishes it was.
Finally got around to hearing the entire season and I loved it! There's nothing better than a good mystery and this one sucked me in real good. Can't wait to see how they wrap it all up. (And I see a few comments here about how badly she treats her boyfriend and those comments are 100% correct but I think that's all part of her arc as a female character who lost her dad at a young age. Not sure I'm right about that. Just my opinion.)
man, Chase has been brutal to her boyfriend this episode. bashing him a bit, some light flirting with the priest, then blatantly comparing him to the priest in a semi-shaming fashion. kinda felt out of nowhere? love the show though, can't wait for more.
I love a good mystery and this is a great one! Also, one of the voice belongs to Patrick Fabian who plays Howard Hamlin on "Better Call Saul" and I love that guy. Thumbs up!
I am intrigued! Looking forward to seeing where this goes.
I was hooked right away by this podcast! Great writing and acting. Looking forward to the rest!
