In 1964, just a day after Paul Fronczak was born, a "nurse" walks into the ward of Dora Fronczak and asks for her baby, only to disappear into the wind. The kidnapping triggered a large scale manhunt for the missing baby, and 2 years later, police come across an abandoned child and presume that they had finally found Paul. It would only be decades later, when a DNA test would unravel everything the Fronczak family had believed. Tune in to find out more. No one saw it coming. Family members were happily gathered in a luxury apartment in South Korea to celebrate grandpa Cho's birthday when tragedy struck. Just a few hours into the festivities, gunshots would be fired, the building would be locked down, and someone would end up dead at the hospital. It was a shocking event to say the least; even more so when you uncover the culprit's betrayal. Tune in to find out more. By all accounts, Teri Jendusa-Nicolai should not be alive. She was picking up her kids from her ex-husband's house when she was ambushed, beaten, battered, and left for dead in a trash can in the garage. Teri was always aware of her ex-husband David Larsen's violent impulses, but she never thought that he would go so far. On the other hand, David didn't know how badly Teri wanted to survive. Thailand is known for its rich cultural history and religious practice, particularly surrounding Buddhism. But during the early 20th-century, one monk would emerge and gain infamy in Bangkok, using his knowledge of black magic, love potions, and religious customs to gain followers, ensnare victims, and uproot the very traditions that formed the basis of his faith; himself becoming the folk legend known as Iron-Chest Boonpeng. In 1980, 19 year old Robert Shafran had just started college in New York when he came across a rather unusual predicament. While he was on campus, he was repeatedly mistaken for another student by the name of Eddy Galland. And when they eventually met, the resemblance was eerily uncanny; both had identical features, had the same birthday, shared the same quirks, and were even adopted children. The meeting was so peculiar that it was even publicized on local newspapers and television, which is where things took another strange turn. David Kellman came across the story in the papers, and recognized his own faces. We continue with the case of Cari Farver and her seemingly bizarre actions after her disappearance. Over time, Farver's supposed harassment becomes even more severe, escalating from simple texts and emails to arson, animal abuse, and even an attempted murder. But with the case ongoing as long as it has, it would only be a matter of time before a fresh pair of eyes would catch sight of the oddities in the case, and unravel the whole charade for what it really was. In 2012, Cari Farver left for work early in the morning and bid goodbye to her partner Dave Kroupa, only to never be seen again. Except that Dave would begin receiving strange texts and emails from Cari; initially a request to move in together, but quickly escalating to bouts of anger and verbal abuse. What made this even more bizarre, was that the onslaught of texts would continue over the next four years, and reach not only Dave but also his former partner, and even Cari's own mother. This thus begs the question, where in the world was Cari Farver? And a more chilling thought, was she even the one behind these texts to begin with? Tune in to find out more. In 2020, Brett Fairley was a young, strapping, 24 year old when he stumbled across Maria Nguyen at her birthday party, leading to a one-night stand. Bizarrely, after receiving no contact from Maria for a few months, she suddenly texts him with a peculiar request: can you be my sperm donor? And after repeated assurances from Maria that there would be no strings attached, Brett agrees. But what Brett didn't know at the time was that life-changing decisions should probably never be made off of simple promises, and that things were just about to get incredibly messy. In the summer of 1945, a group of young teenage girls were away on Dance Camp in the scenic desert landscape of Ruidoso, New Mexico, when they encountered a bizarre incident. In the middle of the night, they were awoken by a strange, bright light, and a booming sound in the distance. When they stepped outside hours later, they noticed that fine, white particles were falling from the sky; and began to play with it as they thought it was some kind of miraculous desert snow. The repercussions of this incident wouldn't be felt until later. Farm animals and crops in the vicinity began dying of unnatural causes. People got sick, and just a few decades, all but 2 of the teenage girls had died from various cancers. Tune in to find out more. In 1986, John Ruetten was leaving his home for work when his wife, Sherri Rasmussen, said that she felt sick and would be staying at home for the day. But upon returning home later in the evening, John would find the garage door open, his wife's car missing, and a huge mess throughout the house. Tragically, he would also find Sherri lifeless on the floor, in what appeared to be a burglary gone wrong. Investigations would investigate this lead in the coming months, citing the crime as part of a spree of burglaries within the area. However, more than 20 years later, a deeper look into the case would support a different theory; one that was closer to the police than they initially thought. Tune in to find out more.
