Have you ever walked past a mysterious stranger on a park bench and wondered about their lives? Tom Rosenthal (singer-songwriter by trade) has spent the last 6 months walking the many parks of London, approaching random bench-dwellers and asking if he can sit next to them and record their conversation. Every stranger remains anonymous, neither name or place of work is ever revealed (even to Tom himself), leading to greater openness, intimacy, and surprising revelations from the participants.

Another one that started off quite fun, but then descended into misogyny 🙁
Not the best episode, ok until half way then he spurts all sorts of old school nonsense.
The name of the ending song plz🥹. It means a lot to me.
This was the first episode that I didn't enjoy. Seemed fun to begin with, but after 25 mins then misogyny kicks in which was just sad to listen to. Lots of bravado and lacking the usual authenticity. I suppose it takes all sorts and that's the whole point of the podcast. But it's always a bad sign when a guy can't help but keep referencing his penis. Sigh.

What an awesome time listening to this admiring person. I impressed by the way he was talking about flying kites and his auntie Rosie. I wish I could meet him and hear about all his little experiences. I hope he live long and be well.

I so love this podcast. The concept is human and real and quirky. I had tears and laught out loud a few times. I loved the spaces in between the words - it allowed feelings and connection. So many surprises! My heart heaved...
