Description
Based on the short story by Stephen King, Strawberry Spring is a scripted podcast set against the backdrop of the sixties revolution on the campus of New Sharon College. We follow a generation of students who don't trust authority, the futile efforts of the local police, and a young, determined reporter as he chases the bloody trail of Springheel Jack, an unrelenting, modern-day Jack the Ripper. After vanishing and leaving his murders unsolved, Jack is back - along with a new Strawberry Spring, a weather pattern with an unusual fog bank that rolls in every eight years. Using the fog to hide his tracks, he taunts New Sharon with fresh kills, each murder more violent than the last. The 8-episode season stars Garrett Hedlund, Milo Ventimiglia, Sydney Sweeney, Herizen Guardiola, Al Madrigal, Ken Marino, and Brec Bassinger.

waaaaaay too many ads. geesh
Wtaf is going on??
For a psychiatrist Rachel seems really erratic and unstable, even if she is pregnant... she was definitely showing signs of unnecessary insecurity way before she was pregnant so she might just be bat balls crazy.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
i wish King was narrating it! Hes really good dragging you in to it!
Finally comes to the end, though I was right about the killer form chap1,but still enjoyed ita lot. Hopefully there would be more Stephen King.🤠
if you like commercials every 10 minutes then listen to this
I felt the podcast production was a bit messy and the story a tad predictable but I am interested in finding and reading the short story.
I'm a huge Stephen King fan, but this was overall pretty disappointing. The voice acting is hit-and-miss for some characters, but the production value was ok. I think the biggest thing for me is: are we SUPPOSED to have figured out who the killer is by episode 2 and are just along for the ride, or was this actually supposed to be mysterious until the "reveal"? Because I don't think it takes a detective to figure it out very early on. 🙄
Is there only 8 episodes?
came to the comments to get an idea of the storyline 50/50 love/hate so I guess I'm going to have to try it out....I'll be back!

I like the story so far and I love Stephen King, but: 1- why are there SO MANY ads in such a short episode? 2- I feel like they really could have picked female voice actors that sounded a lot more distinct from each other, to the point where I'm not sure who's talking at certain points and have to figure it out from context. It's clear that whoever did casting really likes a certain type of female voice.
I cannot listen to this. Might be entertaining and so many commercials get in the way. For shame, you commercialize an Idea by Mr. King to the point the "gentle" listener cannot follow. Perhaps you could limit commercials to beginning and end, not 4 times with 3 to 4 long commercials. I listen to relax, not press fast forward. No thanks, as I go it gets worse so bye, bye
what is the song at the end of each episode????
audio on episode 6 not working
Tried to stick with this...Just not feeling it.
I am a King fan also but this is too corny. Maybe worse than the Night Flier movie 😂
I love this and I am not a fan of #Stephen king
I love Stephen King but this is terrible. The characters are annoying
