Student Production Awards (AHECTA)

The AHECTA (Association of Higher Education Campus Television Administrators) Student Production Awards are an annual competition for college and university students across the country. Prizes are awarded for Best News/Sports Feature, Best Documentary or Lifestyles Feature, and Best Music Video or Original Short Film; a Best in Show prize is also awarded to the best overall submission.

The AHECTA SPAs were started in 1996, and have been sponsored by corporate partners of AHECTA, including HBO, mtvU, FOX News, and Campus TeleVideo.
