According to Randi, the best way to talk to your kids about serious topics is through honesty and empathy. These strategies can be used now as we endure the coronavirus ‼️ We’re all concerned, and as supportive parents we need to keep it real with our kids. We had the pleasure of having Attorney Jammy Kiggundu as our guest and what a fountain of insight he was ‼️ From early on he knew he wanted to use his impactful voice to “help the little guy” - which he mentioned was the main reason he chose to go to Law school! Parents listen up 🦻🏻 because here are the different types of cyber bullying according to Jammy. 1. Creating fake accounts to stalk/harass 2. Posting mean comments on social media and having their friends like it 3. Posting pics that can be altered with someone else’s face 4. Nasty voicemails 5. Mean voice recordings through Snapchat that disappear as soon as it’s opened/viewed

This woman completely blew me away when I met her at the friends of nursing luncheon. She is Dr. Stephanie Coulter of Texas Heart Institute’s Center for Women’s Heart and Vascular Health. I think of her as a Dr. version of Attorney Elle Woods in Legally Blonde, mostly because of the fabulous hair flip and endearing southern/ Louisiana accent. She is BRILLIANT, truly changing the landscape for women’s health and yet absolutely darling.
