In this episode, I discuss a recent article by the Hollywood Reporter. Disney announced that Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and the Ryan Reynolds starring Free Guy will be exclusively in theaters for 45 days before going onto streaming. This release schedule is different from the day and date release they have for Jungle Cruise, Cruella and Black Widow, in which all three films will be released simultaneously on streaming and in theaters. I give thoughts on both release strategies and how they may effect the box office and moviegoers experience.
