In light of us getting married this WEEKEND! it was only right I finally upload this episode. This here is the future of Suburban Dope. My wife is my favorite co-host lol! we talked about my recent Show on November 7th. We talked about the future of suburban dope, we had some lauhghs, talked about some LIFE cuz lets face it, we ALL go through it sometimes lol! we played a question game, and honestly we are gonna be doing this again. We love each other, We are getting married, LIFE is good, and we wanted to share it with ya'll and cant wait to again. THIS is The Barrow Way....WELCOME! many more to come. 

YES YES! back again with your weekly update on everything music and culture if you will lol! I had my first live show last week and its exciting to see that we are already progressing. This week the story time segment gets kind of real, being that its the end of black history month I wanted to share a different type of story. I am no longer on Soundcloud. YES! YES! YES! this episode HERE! this one HERE!? this one is special. This is a long time coming for me and this guy. I have watched him grow and develop as an artist from the beginning. He is an old friend of mine from middle School *SALUTE to Columbia MD for holding us down* now Rapper slash producer slash artist lol! my man Brain is truly one of the most authentic genuine people ever, and after this episode you will understand why I respect him so highly. We talked about growing up in columbia, to middle school, to high school, to when he fell in love with hip hop, to performances, to HOW to maintain and stay grounded in this game. The one thing you will take away from this episode is....dont be afraid to be yourself, and if you have a dream that you haven't gone after....DO IT! because all we got is now....I'll let my man Brain explain the rest...this episode is for the creatives and the dreamers of the world

YUP! I hope you guys didn't think I forgot about you this week lol! This one here is another great one with one of my favorite people. Tierra was an old baby sitter of mine and basically older sister lol! We get into her life a little bit, She is the mother of 3 great children, one whom was on the Premier episode of season 2 S/o Andreus Price. We reminisced over the days she used to babysit us, to her putting me on to different albums and stand up specials, we even talked about her dreams and how taking another path can be a good thing. This episode is a good one, and I think it will put a few people at ease if your thinking that things just aren't working out sometimes. 

YEAAAAAA!!! WELCOME! my show is officially on ALL major platforms, and to kick off the launch of it, its only right to give you guys a LIVE episode. This past weekend my friends and I put on our OWN show "The Comedy Get Together" it was our first one and sure enough, PEOPLE came out! it was a great feeling. Our show was in a STRIP CLUB....yes....a STRIP CLUB! and it is the DOPEST thing I have ever done so far. I performed stand up in a strip club, and better yet I did my podcast live with the help of the homies Dallas and Antmo and had a Black Power Vs White Power conversation in a STRIP CLUB. THIS IS SUBURBAN DOPE!

YES!! Covid is still here but it wont stop me! I take the time today to explain what I've been up to these past few months. It's been a while but for good reason. I am doing my OWN show officially on November 7th. Under a canopy, stand up comedy socially distanced. My man Khairy, Baltimore's own will be opening up for me.  Needless to say he is NOT playing. Mahogany Reynolds will be hosting the show.  It will be live streaming through Facebook Live on Mahogany Reynolds page.  Guys....A LOT went into this show, and I just wanted to share it with you all. Suburban Dope is officially BACK! and im taking the show in a new direction. Starting with this new episode here. Old friends from high school, My brother Avon came through to the Suburbs and we chilled like it was 2004 all over again. It's funny though, because we are now MEN. We've grown as people, we've made some mistakes, we've learned some lessons....and some we still have to learn LOL! but one thing is for certain, we are still friends who love and care for each other. WE DID have some drink so be prepared for that..LOL! and another friend from High school even made a phone call in the middle of the episode. Im excited to really give you all the REAL feel of a black man from the suburbs. I cant wait to catch up with you all weekly and tell you stories of "suburban activity", and maybe share some jokes in between. 2019 was definitely a year of GROWTH for me in all aspects, from really tapping into my writing, to doing more shows, learning from certain situations, and did my FIRST special on my own with the help of friends.  A milestone that I will remember for the rest of my life. WAIT ON IT for 2020, I WILL be back in full swing. SAME show, same host, with a new attitude and NEW format. Suburban Dope is who i am, and I am proud to be just THAT. His name is Grizz LaFlare. He is the homie for real. He came out to jersey Last week and spent the weekend and just KICKED IT....like we used to do. Had necessary conversation, Had Laughs as always, he Met the lady, She cooked a MEAN ASS MEAL....we had many smoke sessions, and most importantly, we kept it REAL. Grizz is always cooking, Grizz knows who he is, Grizz is one of the DOPEST producers if not THEE dopest producer coming out of North Jersey....PERIOD! give this a listen...Enjoy it

He is not your average cop, and when you listen to this episode you will understand why. This man loves his job, and needless to say....we need more like him out there on the streets

We brought in a man of many trades today, Walter Duke Sanders was a Track and Field star in high school, on top of football, and on TOP of Basketball. Played in the NFL with the Ravens for a little bit before he decide he wanted to become fire fighter in Baltimore County, to NOW....he is an amateur fighter, Golden Glove champ, `11-0 with 7 KO's....needless to say, this man is the peoples champ and it was a pleasure talking to him. WHATS GOOOOD! this one here is special. My boy Jason came down to visit some friends in Baltimore. While he was here, he took a detour here FIRST to come kick it wit ya boy lol! Jason is an Artist as well as an Art Teacher. He painted me some AMAZING pieces that youll hear us talk about on here. Jason is one guy I know who is living his Dream in real life. We talked about how he got there, we talked about Jersey a little, stories of meeting Method Man lol! and had some real talk about being a teacher and the school system. YES SIR! it was only right I brought them back in. Regis Marcellus have been steady putting in work and dont plan on stopping. They recently dropped a new EP on 4/20 that I am STILL playing. I had to bring them on and have them talk about it, break down the songs, the process, and find out what they are up to next. These guys are DOPE! they are focused, they know what they want to do, and they planned it out to the Tee. Im rpoud to say I know them, and I honestly cant wait to see and hear what they give the world next.
