In this final episode for 2021, Jim takes a moment to talk about the past year in the shed industry. He also touches on ways to reflect and plan for the new year and shares a few different ways that you can get involved with the podcast.
In this episode of the Success In Sheds Podcast, your host Jim Mosier had a special session with a couple of men that need no introduction, Kyle & Shannon from the Shed Geek Podcast.
Note: This is not the original podcast episode that was to air today, today's episode is intended to help Shannon & Kyle spread the word about the relief efforts underway for those that were affected by the stretch of more than 250 miles from Arkansas to Kentucky that recently experienced severe tornadoes.
Shannon & Kyle were quick to spring into action and get the word out, partnered with a non-profit to accept donations, raised over $50,000 (and climbing) and have distributed 45 generators along with gas cans and cords to those in need without power. Incredibly, all of this is within the last 2 days alone.
Listen to the details they have to share, learn how you can get involved and say a prayer with us by listening to today's episode.
You can also contribute to the efforts by visiting https://shbrotherhood.org/donate/ or using the hashtag #hometownmakeovermayfield
(Note: The episode originally slated for today will air sometime in the near future)
Today, our host, Jim Mosier sits down with Bo Leslie from APF Services. APF is a consumer finance company that has built a unique and user-friendly (not to mention, consumer friendly!) lending platform, where a salesperson can see lending offers for potential customers in minutes, without putting a hard inquiry on the customer's credit. As he explains, this platform was birthed through their work in the medical industry, and has since branched out into home services, and is now launching it nationwide to the shed builder community. Listen as he explains exactly how it works, what you can expect, and how it can improve your bottom line while keeping you from ever having to take back a shed again!
Episode 1 of the Success In Sheds Podcast is an introduction to Jim Mosier, the host of our podcast. He is the founder of the digital marketing agency Shed Marketer, as well as the author of the book "Selling Sheds Online: The Complete Guide to Digital Marketing for Shed Builders & Portable Building Manufacturers".
In this episode, he talks about how he got into the shed industry, and why he is passionate about it.
