Susan advises businesses from startups to publicly traded companies on growth strategies and transactions.  Laurie talks with Susan as a fellow M&A Advisor about why it's valuable for entrepreneurs to get an early start with transition planning. I love this podcast. This is one of my favorite lockdown-period discoveries. It has helped me to make exercise walks go by much more quickly while also giving me a lot to think about and delve into long after I'd already listened to an episode. The guests on this podcast have been greatly varied. There is a common theme, of course, but the guests are at different points in their careers, have different goals, come from different backgrounds, bring different perspectives and offer different lessons learned. One of the episodes has even given me a new mantra that I have used several times since then to remind myself when I hit a challenge. "It's not hard, it's just new." My sincere thanks to Laurie Barkman for helping me learn a little bit these past several months.
