Description

Take root downward; Bear fruit upward; Extend His Kingdom outward.

We seek to be Kingdom-minded, honouring the whole Body of Christ, embracing the ministry gifts and roles of Ephesians 4:11. We value worship as a real and abandoned encounter with the living God as well as a lifestyle. We are building a disciple-making culture, where everybody is on mission. We love and honour our Elder Brother, Israel, teaching and praying into the wholeness of our shared family.  Our heart is to live as true sons and daughters of our Father in Heaven, depending on His supernatural power rather than mere natural ability.

FlameTree Podcasts are released on Monday mornings each week. Our full services can be found on our website.

But does our world view help us see the invitation to celebrate with our Lord everyday? There are 2 world views: Separation and Connection. And the way we deal with the world, read the bible, and work with others is determined greatly by these lenses. FlameTree Church | October 12, 2025 Fo...

We are in a season of re-visioning who we are as a local church, but without love - our response to the love God has poured out for us- we have no business discussing anything else. The saddest day in the Jewish Calendar, commemorating the destruction of both the 1st and 2nd Temples, as well as numerous tragedies befalling the Jewish people down until today, challenges us to pray for Israel and raise our gaze from our own place in-between the first and second coming of Jesus. Life between Passover and Tabernacles, promise and fulfilment, labour and birth, is the lived experience of every believer. FlameTree Church | August 3, 2025 For more infor...

In this message Pastor Stu helps believers to withstand evil and the temptations Satan brings in our lives. Using the example of Jesus and teaching from Paul’s epistles, this is a call to not be outwitted by the evil one, ‘for we are not unaware of his schemes’ (2 Cor 2:11) FlameTree Church | July 13, 2025 For more information on FlameTree, go to: www.flametree.org.au FACEBOOK | INSTAGRAM

Jesus receives us just as we are - uncut stones - as an altar of sacrifice, then shapes each of us, privately, for worship and warfare. FlameTree Church | June 29, 2025 For more information on FlameTree, go to: www.flametree.org.au FACEBOOK | INSTAGRAM
In this message Pastor Stu sets out a vision for discipleship across generations, and encourages movement toward spiritual fathers and mothers being connected with sons and daughters. Using the example of Paul, Timothy and the Corinthian church, this is a call to the Church to see all operating as ‘living stones’ within the household of God. In light of the events in the Middle East in recent times, Pastor Stu takes a fresh look at the place of Israel today. Is Israel any different to other nations? God initiates. We respond in surrendered prayer. God responds with fiery love! Throughout Redemptive history, God invites mankind into relationship. We love because God first loved us. As we respond in humility and pursue wholeness in His Bride, God then answers with the love and power needed for every generation to meet it’s challenges. A thousand years before Jesus was born, the Book of Ruth beautifully illustrates the family relationship between Jews, Gentiles and Jesus, still being worked out today. Jesus’ heart’s cry is for us to come to Israel, not empty-handed, but bearing the full weight of His love for her. We are not to come with words of condemnation as in generations past, but with acts of love, a heart of gratitude and the message of all that Israel’s Messiah has done for us. &n...
From the Aramaic word for ‘trustworthy’, mammon- or money- seeks to entice us to place our trust and hope in it, rather than God. ‘You cannot serve both God and money’, and ‘be on your guard against all kinds of greed’. Jesus’ warnings are clear and in this message Pastor Stu encourages hearers to trust in God, practicing gratitude, contentment, simplicity and generosity.
