I knew the sonic soundtracks were good but this episode made me realize how amazing they really are
this is amazing while I despise sonic I love it
amazing episode
wow this is now my favorite podcast, hidden gem!
YES! Such great music, I never appreciated it properly while playing but this is making me really want to get the early games out again. FFVI is excellent and I'm glad this has highlighted another area of brilliance in it. I'm really glad that the opera song and dancing mad got a full mention :) they're impressive pieces! Side note: I recently discovered your podcast because I was searching for 'classic fm at the movies' and this came up! I'm so glad, you guys are excellent and are addinga whole new dimension to my enjoyment of the arts :D (even if I don't know anything technical about music). Please keep it up! :)
Glad to hear Dancing Mad was included, although not much talk about it which I felt was a shame. Maria and Draco (an operatic piece) is one of my favourite pieces on the Distant World album, I think the wedding duel is part of that - basically two men fighting over Maria's love. It's a pretty cool part of the game, too. Great episode, thanks!
In my opinion the music of ff8 is way better than ff9's, although I do like that they are different in style as the two games are so different in setting. I'm not much of a music buff so it was really interesting listening to this (even if I didn't understand many if the terms), thank you!
muito bom!
Great episode! I always enjoy it when Marty is on.
A little late but I think that you mean Flow for Austin Wintory. Vincent Diamante does Flower.
