Hosts Justin Reschke and Keith Barnard talk NHL 4 Nations hockey tournament and a surprisingly good first game. MLB spring training is on the horizon as well. Is there anything that Roki Sasaki could do to NOT make the Dodgers' opening day roster at this point? And of course, the Super Bowl, well....happened. How did the Eagles defense absolutely stifle the best QB in the league? We have it all for you on Suspended Indefinitely!
Hosts Justin Reschke and Keith Barnard preview a Super Bowl that everyone will be watching, but nobody actually seems to care about. Can two great quarterbacks and a good match-up (on paper anyway) create some excitement, or will we all be watching for National Anthem prop bets and Moutnain Dew commercials? Also, the NFL announced their latest Hall of Fame inductees. Was anybody truly snubbed? Truly? How does the NFL criteria to get into the Hall of Fame compare to, say, the MLB Hall of Fame? Plus, of course, much more, on the February 7th edition of Suspended Indefinitely!
Hosts Justin Reschke and Keith Barnard breakdown how Ohio State and Notre Dame ended up in the College Football Playoff Championship game and talk NFL draft and playoffs.
Hosts Justin Reschke and Keith Barnard dive into the NFL on Christmas and what went wrong with CJ Stroud. They also discuss the first round of the CFP, some bowls to look forward to, and the overwhelming issues with College Football right now including the winter transfer portal, NIL money vs NFL money, and more.
Hosts Justin Reschke and Ryan Noonan are back breaking down Week 6 of the college football season. Do we finally have a true number 1 team in the nation with Georgia winning and Texas going down in the Red River Rivalry game? Of course we talk Ohio State and their first half sturggles against Maryland, Notre Dame and their loss at Louisville, and which coaches are firmly on the hot seat and maybe a couple who might join them soon or have already.
After week 5 in the NFL, the San Francisco 49ers have firmly planeted themselves atop the, well, the entire league and maybe have an emeging MVP candidate to thank for it. On the flip side, the Panthers are the only winless team remaining in the league after a dominant performance from the Chicago Bears and Justin Fields lifted them out of the winless column. What is wrong with Bryce Young? We look at some numbers surrounding his performance thus far.
The MLB playoffs are in full swing with the Divisional Series happening now. The Atlanta Braves won in incredible walk off fashion and we preview possible pitching options and how the Braves' rotation could actually get stronger with the upcoming matchups. Can the Dodgers force a Game 5 in their series after dropping the first two games to the Dbacks after two lackluster starting pitching performances? Plus, a possible free agent landing spot for an LA lefty?
We wrap up with some discussion about the MLS season and how their playoffs work, and are actually better, than traditional soccer "playoffs". We also touch on the newly crowned Formula One World Champion Max Verstappen and his lackluster cruise to victory in what was not even a real Grand Prix over the weekend. Also, the NHL is back and a pretty cool moment took place to begin the regular season. It's all this week on Suspended Indefinitely, a Longballs and Lagers production!
Hosts Justin Reschke and Ryan Noonan discuss some key games from week 5 of the college football season. We also dive into some National Championship contenders who are facing issues at quarterback in Ohio State and Alabama. And of course, what could college football talk be without mentioning Coach Prime and the Colorado Buffaloes?
Then, we dive into Week 4 of the NFL and discuss some early Super Bowl favorites while breaking down some underachievers. This was recorded during the morning games of Week 4 so there's some commentary thrown in there as well. Finally, we wrap up with some MLB discussion as playoffs begin this week and while the game itself has perhaps never been better with new clock rules, umpiring remains a huge eyesore.
It's all on the October 2nd, 2023 edition of Suspended Indefinitely!
Justin Reschke is flying solo for this one while Alex Gratys is out and Ryan Noonan has been fired into the sun (temporarily). NFL Wild Card Weekend was awesome!! The 49ers defense kept Seattle in check while Brock Purdy went off with four TDs. More proof that Purdy should be the guy in SF. The Chargers collapsed on a historical level Saturday night, blowing a 27-0 lead against the Jaguars. We know now that Brandon Staley's job is secure, but OC Joe Lombardi is out. Plus, recapping all the other Wild Card games and discussing what the future holds for Tom Brady after a less than mid Monday Night Football game between the Cowboys and Buccaneers. CJ Stroud finally declared for the NFL draft. What took so long, and did this maybe encourage some high profile college football players to take an extra year and bet on themselves in the future? Also, Jim Harbaugh is staying at michigan. Another year, and more flirtation between Jim and the League. Is his song and dance getting old for recruits?
Plus, Carlos Correa is finally a...Twin? After all of that? Why did the Mets use the same doctor as the Giants? An interesting quote from Correa's agent Scott Boras is discussed. And finally...robo-umpires in Triple-A. Is the end near? Will we see robo-umps in the Show sooner rather than later?
The hosts of the Boozy Mouse podcast join the show!! The Boozy Mouse is a fantastic and fun podcast about all things Disneyworld, and especially the numerous adult beverage options. A day drinking around the world at Epcot or exploring the amazing cocktail options available via the monorail is a lot like attending a major sporting event. We talk about our favorite drinks while at DIsney or a sporing event, some food and drink options that might work at both. ALSO, we talk about the College Football Play Final/National Championship game between TCU and Georgia and we answer the question...did Stetson Bennett play himself with his performance Monday night. Plus, we discuss Jim Harbaugh and his NFL prospects and whether or not he will or should stay at that school up north.
Then, it's on to a recap of NFL Week 18. Jacksonville is IN. The Steelers and Packers are OUT. Is Kenny Pickett the long term solution in Pittsburgh after his 2022 season (spoiler: no...he wears gloves and is a clear visor guy). Finally, what's up with Green Bay and the franchise refusing to get Aaron Rodgers some help? Has A-Rodg played his last game with Green Bay? It's all on the January 11th edition of Suspended Indefinitely!
First of all, we are all thinking of Damar Hamlin and hoping for a full recovery. We had hoped to discuss what looked like one of the biggest match ups of the season in the NFL, but obviously that did not happen. And rightfully so.
There were still (finally) some amazing bowl games in College Football including the College Football Playoff Semi-Finals, which saw two great games. Kansas and Arkansas faced off in an EPIC Liberty Bowl. Also, what the hell is targeting anymore? PACKED week(end) of bowl games and like we said, finally some good ones.
Week 17 in the NFL was also jam packed with some great games. The Giants clinched a playoff spot for the first time since 2016. The Packers absolutely housed the Vikings and kept their playoff hopes alive, as did the Steelers with a win over the Ravens on Sunday night. The game of the week was the 49ers taking on the Raiders in Las Vegas and as epic as it was, there were even bigger, more epic-er implications as this game also featured the #KickerBowl2022 as Justin's 3rd place spot in his fantasy football league was decided by the Daniel Carlson vs. Robbie Gould matchup. Going into the 3rd place match up, it was decided that Justin and his opponent would sit their whole team except for their kickers. FInd out how it all went down and ended up!
Finally, again, we want to wish Damar Hamlin all of our best as we are thinking of him, his family, the Bills, and the Bengals and everybody involved. We end on some thoughts on how the NFL handled the situation and more importantly, the humanity shown by the Bills and the Bengals and their respective players and head coaches Sean McDermott and Zac Taylor.
We are back! And not (mostly) not sick! After a week off due to the death flu and then another week off due to horrendous coughing and Christmas, Suspended Indefinitely is back with Justin Reschke and Ryan Noonan. We break down Week 16 in the NFL including the Chargers clinching a playoff berth, the Niners and Brock Purdy looking like the hottest team in football at the moment, plus some other upsets and disappointments from around the league. We also discuss MLB free agency and these insane contracts for shortstops. Plus, the Carlos Correa controversy! Will he sign with the Mets? Is there a grand conspiracy theory at play? Is defense being more valued than ever with the elimination of the shift, leading to this record deals for shortstops?
Finally, we wrap up with some discussion on college football bowl season and how many (read: all) of these bowl games so far have failed to impress. Also, there is no such thing as Cheez-Its! You either have one Cheez-It, or several Cheez-It crackers. The phrase "Cheez-Its" does not exist, at least according to a representative from the Cheez-It(s) Bowl.
All this and much, much more on the December 28th, 2022 edition of Suspended Indefinitely!

Hosts Justin Reschke, Ryan Noonan, and Alex Gratys are joined by Fantasy Football expert Josh Fathollahi.
USC was eliminated from College Football Playoff contention by Utah last Friday night in the PAC-12 Championship game. That meant Ohio State is IN, but what about the final rankings? We break down the CFP and look at what last weeekend's games meant for bowl season.
Josh Fathollahi of Rotowire joins us for NFL talk and shares some much needed Fantasy Football advice before Fantasy Football playoffs begin in most leagues in the next few weeks. Hear his thoughts on Tight Ends around the league, the QB as a Super Flex, the running back situation in Dallas, and Christian McCaffrey's role in San Francisco and how it may affect the other fantasy studs on that roster like George Kittle and Deebo Samuel.
Finally, we talk MLB free agency and look at some possible landing spots for big name players while breaking down some signings that have already occurred. Also, is the MLB Hall of Fame becoming the Hall of Very Good? We discuss how the HOF can be improved while still maintaining the prestige it is known for across sports.
It's all this week on Suspended Indefinitely!
Week 13 in College Football saw The Game between Ohio State and Michigan. What does a big loss at home and the second loss in a row to that team up north mean for Ryan Day and his future in Columbus? Is there still a path to the CFP for the Buckeyes (of course)? Plus, some major coaching hires were announced and we break down Luck Fickell heading to Wisconsin, Matt Rhule to Nebraska, and Hugh Freeze to Auburn.
Week 12 in the NFL was, dare we say it, the most entertaining week of football this season in the NFL? Turkey Day matchups gave way to a great Sunday of action that saw 11 games, including 2 OT matchups, finish within one possession.
Mattia Binotto is OUT at Ferrari after weeks of speculation. Was this the right move? Who could be the next Team Principal in Maranello? Plus, we check in with the World Cup and a major match that saw the US take on Iran with advancement in the tournament on the line.
Finally, we recap the first quarter of the NHL season and establish some contenders and pretenders. Are the Bruins and Devils for real? Can the Colorado Avalanche reestablish themselves at the top of the Central Division?
It's all this week on the Suspended Indefinitely podcast with your hosts Justin Reschke and Alex Gratys!
Hosts Justin Reschke, Ryan Noonan, and Alex Gratys discuss a wild week in College Football that saw Michigan and TCU nearly suffer their first losses of the season. Ohio State also struggled at times against Maryland, and Tennessee fell big to South Carolina. What does all of this mean for the College Football Playoff? Plus, NFL Week 11 action with a look ahead to the Thanksgiving week games. Also, the World Cup got underway and the guys discuss the last minute alcohol ban and some of the major humanitarian issues surrounding Qatar. Lastly, the 2022 Formula One season wrapped up in Abu Dhabi in, perhaps, unspectacular fashion. It's Episode 3 of Suspended Indefinitely!
Host Justin Reschke and Ryan Noonan discuss the Formula One Brazilian Grand Prix, the beef between Max Verstappen and Sergio "Checo" Perez, the rumors circling around Ferrari Team Principal Mattia Binotto, College Football Week 11 and some key outcomes involving the top teams in the College Football Playoff rankings, NFL Week 10 and that crazy game between the Minnesots Vikings and Buffalo Bills, and much more.
Hosts Justin Reschke and Ryan Noonan discuss all things college football for the week, the Auburn coaching search, the World Series wrapping up with the Houston Astros proving victorious, and NFL Week 9 action.
