Sticks and stones will break my bones... a child's nursery rhyme which contains a universal truth that is all but lost in today's day and age of safe spaces and mass censorship of "hurtful words." Respect is not only demanded in this brave new world, but some of us feel entitled to it. Chris Dorner never received the respect he felt he was entitled to. When he felt his honor was being stripped away by the very institution he swore allegiance to he had only one logical choice… go to war with the LAPD. How he chose to act then, said more about his character than any words ever could.

Three vicious murders in rural Northeastern Maine stun the small city of Amity’s 238 residents.  A missing truck, three innocent victims killed with surgical precision, and a crime scene just a few miles West of the US/Canadian border leave detectives with few clues.  Like a trained assassin creeping through the Maine thicket, 20-year-old Thayne Ormsby commits one of the state’s most heinous triple homicides, all apparently - by mistake.  A tale of vigilante justice gone horribly wrong when the truth is finally revealed.

A loyal listener for years, especially working alone at night, I found I can't listen to these shows since Mike is gone. With all due respect, it isn't the same. I'll leave it at that.

I had to stop for a second at "complete loser, complete waste of human life". How about you just tell the GD story, and keep your personal opinions to yourself? You seem to be quite the self centered twat yourself. What happens when YOUR bubble bursts? My main issue here is if the roles were reversed, if it was a woman saying, no he didn't actually, physically, assault me, but I felt incredibly unsafe, and I have felt vulnerable and weak ever since this incident...Would you bat an eye? I'm not saying I agree with this guy's view of the incident, or that it was, indeed, even an incident. My thoughts, as I listen, are that he felt emasculated, or just simply embarrassed, because he didn't "perform", but I am NOT in his head, and could not be so sure as to feel good calling him a loser or otherwise. So...tell the fucking story, with the excellent production value that you typically offer, and don't assume your listenership needs to be told how to think or feel.

This is the sickest shit I have ever heard. And to make it worse, they suspect 40+ more predators doing the same stuff...scores of victims, "no end in sight.". Horrific...

The music when they were talking about find Jessica's remains was very irritating listening to (at least with head phones). It is like droning with a clicking drum beat. I almost had to turn it off it had gone any longer than it had.
