What a delightful speaker & engaging presentation. Voice modulation & humor indeed are the winning combination here. In addition the strong content keeps one listening. What appealed to me the most was the story she narrated in the beginning of Ms. Margaret - a common woman who everyone would relate to and the way she held onto the character till the end.

It was a wonderful presentation. In adding to many takeaways, I specially liked is the statement "Choosing the right goal and then sticking to it".

Honestly, These sad tales from people suffering from white guilt have done little to lift anyone out of poverty. But if it made him feel better, gain some friends, oh well.

I disagree with her final conclusion at the end. not saying those people are right, but when people say "the person on the other side of the world is not like me" as she puts it, they're not commenting on their behavior. yes, a wealthy person in Zambia can and as she shows will act similarly to a wealthy person in Germany . but she chooses to ignore in her conclusion that 90% of Germans will be wealthy and only 2% of Zambians will, and 90% will be very poor. Thus the statement that the person on the other side of the world is very different than me, will more likely than not, be true.

This episode was an eye-opening experience. I'm commenting from my Samsung, sitting on my couch. I wish I could provide some service to people who have less and need more, especially to kids who are disadvantaged.
