TITLE: 23-051 WORDS COME ALIVE VERSE: Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path. PSALM 119:105 Welcome to today's episode of "THE POWER OF GODS WHISPER", a podcast dedicated to understanding the many ways in which God speaks to us and guides us in our daily lives. We will be discussing the importance of recognizing the impressions of the Holy Spirit and how it can be a powerful way that God speaks to us. Dear warriors, We gather today to talk about one of the most essential aspects of our faith: hearing God's voice. Our passage for today comes from Psalm 119:105, which says, "Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path." God's Word is not just a collection of ancient stories and teachings, but it is a living document that has the power to speak directly to our hearts and guide us through the challenges of life. When we read the Bible with an open spirit and a heart that is ready to hear, God will highlight certain verses or passages that speak directly to our current situation. Sometimes, as we read or listen to God's Word, a certain verse or passage will suddenly come alive, as if it were printed in neon lights. This can be a powerful experience that speaks directly to our souls and illuminates our path forward. The Holy Spirit will often illumine His thoughts and engage us in a specific conversation through the words of the Bible. It is important to remember that hearing God's voice is not limited to reading the Bible. However, it is futile to try to hear God on a regular basis outside of Scripture, without also listening for Him within it. The Bible is where God has already spoken perfectly, revealing His general, eternal purposes and His ways with His people. The words that were inspired long ago still resound as we read or listen to them now. But, we must also remember that hearing God's voice requires an open heart and a willingness to listen. We must ask for His guidance and be willing to follow His lead, even if it is not what we initially had in mind. It is through this process of reading, listening, and obeying that we can hear the voice of the living God. In conclusion, let us remember the words of Psalm 119:105, "Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path." The Bible has the power to speak directly to our hearts and guide us through life's challenges. As we read and listen to God's Word with an open heart and a willingness to follow, we can hear His voice and find direction for our lives. May we all seek to hear and follow His voice, so that we may live lives that honor and glorify Him. Let us pray. Dear God, we thank you for your Word and for the guidance and direction that it provides. Help us to listen with an open heart and a willingness to follow, so that we may hear your voice and find direction for our lives. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. We hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. Remember, God speaks to us in many ways and it's important that we pay attention to the impressions of the Holy Spirit and act on them. TITLE: 23-050 FROM THE HEART OF GOD VERSE: Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. ISAIAH 43:1 Welcome to today's episode of "THE POWER OF GODS WHISPER", a podcast dedicated to understanding the many ways in which God speaks to us and guides us in our daily lives. We will be discussing the importance of recognizing the impressions of the Holy Spirit and how it can be a powerful way that God speaks to us. This is a loving message from God to all those who listen. My child...I understand that life can be scary at times and that fear can often take hold. But I want you to know that I am here for you, always. I want your heart to trust in Me completely so that in moments of crisis, your first thought is not of fear, but of My love and protection. Your spiritual reflex should lead you to a place of peace, not worry. I have never left your side, and I never will. You see, I have invested so much in our relationship. I have redeemed you at great cost to Myself, and it was all worth it. I have called you by name and know you intimately, from beginning to end. I saw the end of your story before it even started and chose you anyway because I love you. And that's why I can tell you with confidence, there's nothing to fear. When I soothe your worries and remind you that I am here, you have a choice. You can either stay stressed and worried, or you can believe in Me and find peace. So many people choose to hold onto their fears, but that's such a waste of energy. Remember our bond, remember that I don't make empty promises. When I say "Do not be afraid," it's because I know you have nothing to fear, my child. LET'S PRAY... Lord, stress is a natural instinct for me, but I want my heart to intuitively rest in You. Fill me with trust in You and peace in Your purposes at the sound of Your voice. We hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. TITLE: 23-049 A VERY VOCAL GOD VERSE: All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 2 TIMOTHY 3:16 Welcome to today's episode of "THE POWER OF GODS WHISPER", a podcast dedicated to understanding the many ways in which God speaks to us and guides us in our daily lives. We will be discussing the importance of recognizing the impressions of the Holy Spirit and how it can be a powerful way that God speaks to us. Greetings, Warriors! Today, we're talking about hearing God's whisper, and how His Word can guide us in our daily lives. As 2 Timothy 3:16 reminds us, "All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right." We serve a very vocal God. The world cannot contain all the words He has spoken, but we do have a record of many of them. The Bible is the written account of His words, the only authoritative source of doctrine and expression of His overall will. In it, God tells us what He is like, what His purposes are, and how we can relate to Him. He has uttered many words that weren’t written in ScriptureΒ  β€”references to prophets who spoke for Him but never wrote anything are enough to convince us of thatΒ  β€”but what is written is reliable. In our search for His voice, the Bible is our primary source. We have to learn how to interpret God’s Word, however. At times, He is quoted directly. At other times, writers describe Him or tell stories about encounters people had with Him. The Bible is always true in reporting what people said or believed, but not everything they said or believed is true. For example, Job’s friends had a lot to say about God and His ways, and the book of Job records their arguments accurately. Some of what they said was true, but much of it wasn’t or was wrongly applied. The reader is left to discern when the person being quoted is reliable and when he or she isn’t. It isn’t always clear. We have to ask the Spirit to help us with the interpretation. That means that even when we’re reading the inspired Word of God, we still have to listen for God’s voice. Many are attracted to the β€œobjectivity” of reading the written Word, but centuries of differing opinions and misguided interpretations should be enough to convince us that our objectivity isn’t very objective. We need God’s help to hear His voice in His Word. When we read, we must open our ears to hear. LET'S PRAY... Lord, give me understanding. Enliven Your Word and let it sink deeply into my heart. We hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. Remember, God speaks to us in many ways and it's important that we pay attention to the impressions of the Holy Spirit and act on them. TITLE: 23-048 TAKE UP AND READ VERSE: Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. ROMANS 15:4 Welcome to today's episode of "THE POWER OF GODS WHISPER", a podcast dedicated to understanding the many ways in which God speaks to us and guides us in our daily lives. We will be discussing the importance of recognizing the impressions of the Holy Spirit and how it can be a powerful way that God speaks to us. Greetings, fellow Warriors, and welcome to today’s podcast about hearing God's Whisper. The Bible tells us in Romans 15:4 that "Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us." And indeed, God's word has the power to teach us and guide us throughout our lives. Augustine's story is a powerful example of how the Word of God can speak to us in a personal and impactful way. Augustine was searching for truth and struggling with the choices he had made in his life. But in a moment of desperation, he heard a voice telling him to "Take up and read." He opened a book of Paul's letters and read the words, "Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness...But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts." Those words spoke directly to Augustine's heart and illuminated the path he needed to take. This is a reminder that God speaks to us through His Word, and when a verse or phrase jumps out at us, it is the Spirit of God illuminating and applying His thoughts to our situation. It's the voice of God, the living Word, speaking directly to our hearts. So make sure to read God's Word every day and learn at every level of your heart and mind. You never know when the Rhema, the word of the moment, will come alive for you. LET'S PRAY... Holy Spirit, I want You to speak to me like that. I love Your Word, but I need it personalized. Pour it directly into my heart like a spiritual injection of truth. Highlight what I need to hear. We hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. Remember, God speaks to us in many ways and it's important that we pay attention to the impressions of the Holy Spirit and act on them. EPISODE 23-047

EPISODE 23-047

2023-02-1604:40

TITLE: 23-47 WRITE IT DOWN VERSE: The LORD said to me, β€œWrite my answer plainly on tablets.” HABAKKUK 2:2 Welcome to today's episode of "THE POWER OF GODS WHISPER", a podcast dedicated to understanding the many ways in which God speaks to us and guides us in our daily lives. We will be discussing the importance of recognizing the impressions of the Holy Spirit and how it can be a powerful way that God speaks to us. Greetings, Warriors, and welcome to today's podcast about hearing God's whisper. In Habakkuk 2:2, we read that the Lord told Habakkuk to write down his answer plainly on tablets. The same was true for other prophets such as Isaiah, Moses, and John. God wanted His words recorded with clarity and permanence, so they wouldn't be forgotten or altered over time. Friends, just like the biblical prophets, we too can benefit from writing down what God speaks to us. Keeping a journal of God's messages to us can help us remember and share His words with others. Although we may not be writing scripture, it's still important to keep track of what God has told us over time. By looking back at our journal, we can see if we're following His instructions and remembering the lessons He has taught us. Casual listeners may not remember what they hear a week later, but attentive listeners are diligent about applying God's words to their lives. Just as a couple keeps old love letters as a celebration of their relationship, we too can celebrate our relationship with God by preserving what He has told us. We can't afford to let God's words go unapplied. He speaks to us for the purpose of changing our lives. The best way to honor His voice is to respond and change according to what He says. And the best way to do that is by writing down what He has told us and clinging to it over time. By doing this, we can see how our relationship with God has grown, how He has invested in us, and how His direction builds on what He has told us in the past. So today, my friends, let's take heed of God's whisper and write down His words, so that we may honor His voice and see our lives transformed. LET'S PRAY... Lord, journaling may never have been my forte, but Your words are too valuable for me to forget them. Help me to write them down accurately, and remind me to review them frequently. Teach me to treasure Your voice. We hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. Remember, God speaks to us in many ways and it's important that we pay attention to the impressions of the Holy Spirit and act on them. TITLE: 23-046 LIKE A SOOTHING BALM VERSE: One who prophesies strengthens others, encourages them, and comforts them. 1 CORINTHIANS 14:3 Welcome to today's episode of "THE POWER OF GODS WHISPER", a podcast dedicated to understanding the many ways in which God speaks to us and guides us in our daily lives. We will be discussing the importance of recognizing the impressions of the Holy Spirit and how it can be a powerful way that God speaks to us. Greetings, Warriors! Today, we're talking about hearing God's whisper and how it can strengthen, encourage, and comfort us. As Paul says in 1 Corinthians 14:3, "One who prophesies strengthens others, encourages them, and comforts them." Many of us think of God as an angry or demanding figure, and when we receive a prophetic message, we might assume it's a list of commands or corrections. However, Paul reminds us that the gift of prophecy should build us up, heal our wounds, and bring us hope and comfort. God's voice is like a soothing balm, not a battering ram. He disciplines us as a loving father, but His discipline always comes with encouragement and comfort. Prophetic words should never provoke guilt, fuel fear, or expose our sins to others. Instead, they should strengthen, encourage, and comfort us. When we speak God's heart to others, our words should be seasoned with these gentle and affirming tones. If we hear or speak words that don't have this flavor, they're not from God. The condemning or fearful words we sometimes hear in our minds are also not from Him. Why? Because God speaks life to us, not death. Whatever He says to us will always be strengthening, encouraging, and comforting. So let's strive to listen for God's gentle whispers, and to speak His heart to others with love and encouragement. May His words bring us strength, comfort, and hope in all things. LET'S PRAY... Lord, open my heart to accept the blessings of Your voice, and close my heart to false, condemning words. Help me to recognize the warmth of Your love when it is spoken to me. We hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. TITLE: 23-045 ACQUAINTANCE VS CLOSE FRIEND VERSE: [John], leaning back against Jesus, said to him, β€œLord, who is it?” Jesus answered, β€œIt is he to whom I will give this morsel of bread when I have dipped it.” JOHN 13:25-26, ESV Welcome to today's episode of "THE POWER OF GODS WHISPER", a podcast dedicated to understanding the many ways in which God speaks to us and guides us in our daily lives. We will be discussing the importance of recognizing the impressions of the Holy Spirit and how it can be a powerful way that God speaks to us. Greetings, fellow Warriors! Have you ever thought about the difference between an acquaintance and a close friend? An acquaintance may exchange pleasantries with us, but a close friend shares personal information. This is why it would be surprising and perhaps even offensive if an acquaintance tried to pry into our personal lives without first establishing a relationship of trust. Unfortunately, this is a common approach we take with God. We come to Him with our prayer requests, asking Him to speak about things that are only relevant to our own small spheres of interest. But how often do we take time to ask Him what's on His heart and to show genuine interest in the aspects of His will that don't pertain to us? We may assume that God doesn't need good listeners, as if He wants to get something off His chest or seek counsel. But God created us for a deeper, personal relationship with Him. He wants to connect with those who share His heart. This is the reason why John, who was leaning back against Jesus at the Last Supper, was privy to insider information about the betrayer. John was referred to as "the disciple whom Jesus loved" because he had developed a true friendship with the Messiah. He was not merely an acquaintance trying to probe Jesus for personal secrets. John was a follower who was genuinely interested in the heart of his friend and interacted with Him on multiple levels - not just when he needed something, but at any time and for any reason. John did not relate to Jesus as a servant under orders, but as a friend with shared interests. And that's what put him in a position to hear. And so, it can be the same for us. When we relate to Jesus as a friend and show genuine interest in what's on His heart, He shares His heart with us. We connect with Him at a very personal level. So, my dear friends, let us strive to cultivate this kind of relationship with our Lord and Savior. Let's listen closely for His whisper and hear His heart. LET'S PRAY... Jesus, what’s on Your heart today? I really want to know. Please share it with me. We hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. TITLE: 23-044 CHANGE YOUR PERSPECTIVE VERSE: When I tried to understand all this, it troubled me deeply, till I entered the sanctuary of God; then I understood their final destiny. PSALM 73:16-17 Welcome to today's episode of "THE POWER OF GODS WHISPER", a podcast dedicated to understanding the many ways in which God speaks to us and guides us in our daily lives. We will be discussing the importance of recognizing the impressions of the Holy Spirit and how it can be a powerful way that God speaks to us. Greetings, my dear warriors, and welcome to today's podcast about hearing God's whisper. Have you ever been troubled by the injustices you see in the world, and found yourself seeking answers? That's exactly what Asaph, the author of Psalm 73, experienced. He was focused on the visible and the immediate, but when he entered the sanctuary of God, his perspective changed. Just like Asaph, many people have discovered the power of worship and how it opens our hearts and minds to God's voice. When our hearts align with God's, our thoughts soon follow, and we begin to hear Him in the depths of our souls. Worship prepares our hearts to listen and hear the whispers of God. But if our goal is simply to hear God's voice and receive answers from Him, we will likely be disappointed. It's only when our ultimate goal is to know God, not just His information, that the answers will come. King Solomon was wise, but when he lost his passion for worship, his wisdom became powerless, and he became disillusioned. So, if you want to hear God's whisper, forget about hearing it for a while. Focus on God, stir up your passion, enter His sanctuary, and cultivate your relationship with Him. Let Him know that your relationship with Him is more important than hearing His secrets. Enjoy His embrace and let Him tell you that He loves you. When your desire for God surpasses your desire for answers, He will freely give you both. You will move beyond seeking His voice, hearing it, and then leaving, to a place where you seek only to be satisfied in Him. May you hear God's whisper today and always. LET'S PRAY... Lord, it’s more important to me to know You than to get information from You. Help me to love You completely. We hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. TITLE: 23-043 FROM THE HEART OF GOD VERSE: You must worship no other gods, for the LORD , whose very name is Jealous, is a God who is jealous about his relationship with you. EXODUS 34:14 Welcome to today's episode of "THE POWER OF GODS WHISPER", a podcast dedicated to understanding the many ways in which God speaks to us and guides us in our daily lives. We will be discussing the importance of recognizing the impressions of the Holy Spirit and how it can be a powerful way that God speaks to us. This is a loving message from God to all those who listen. β€œJealousy is a painful emotion, and you may be surprised that I feel it. But I do. I have told My people repeatedly that I am jealous for their love. I even spoke through the prophets, saying that I burn with jealousy for My people. How could I not? I’ve told you that I am love; I have a love for you that is beyond your comprehension, a love that can’t be quenched. This explains all My other emotions: My anger (at anything that interferes with or distracts from My love), My joy (which celebrates those whom I love), My grief (which laments those who don’t receive My love or who miss its blessings), My hatred (which opposes everything that attempts to thwart My love), and yes, My jealousy (which is an expression of My desire for the exclusive affection of your heart). When I speak to you, you will hear My emotions for you in My words. They will come from a heart that wants your love. β€œYou need to know how I feel about you. You need to understand this jealous love I hold in My heart for you. If you don’t, you will receive My words of correction as a rebuke rather than as an invitation to come closer. You will receive My words of anger as a statement against you personally rather than as a statement against the things in your life that interfere with our relationship. You will think I’m driving you away when I’m actually removing from your life all that hinders and hurts you. My words need to come to you through true perceptions. You need to cling to the fact that everything I say to you comes from a heart of deep, intense love. Then you will hear without being offended or hurt. And you will see how everything I say draws you closer to Me.” Let's Pray... Lord, soften my heart to hear the love and jealousy behind Your words. Everything You say to me is for my good. Help me to receive Your words as an expression of limitless love. We hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. TITLE: 23-042 THE IMPORTANCE OF DEVOTION VERSE: [Anna] never left the Temple but stayed there day and night, worshiping God with fasting and prayer. She came along just as Simeon was talking with Mary and Joseph, and she began praising God. She talked about [Jesus] to everyone who had been waiting expectantly for God to rescue Jerusalem. LUKE 2:37-38 Welcome to today's episode of "THE POWER OF GODS WHISPER", a podcast dedicated to understanding the many ways in which God speaks to us and guides us in our daily lives. We will be discussing the importance of recognizing the impressions of the Holy Spirit and how it can be a powerful way that God speaks to us. Hey Warriors! Today we will be exploring the beautiful words found in Luke 2:37-38, which say, 'And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fasting's and prayers night and day. And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.' In these verses, we see the story of a woman named Anna, who was a widow and a devout servant of the Lord. Anna was a woman of great faith, who devoted herself to the Lord by fasting and praying, day and night. And when she saw the young Mary and Joseph bringing Jesus to the temple, she immediately recognized him as the Savior of the world and gave thanks to the Lord. So, what can we learn from Anna's example? First and foremost, we see the importance of devotion to the Lord. Anna's devotion to the Lord was not just a matter of words, but of actions, as she fasted and prayed, day and night. In much the same way, our devotion to the Lord must be evident in our daily lives, not just in the words we speak, but in the actions we take. But we also see the importance of recognizing the Lord when he comes into our lives. Just as Anna recognized Jesus as the Savior of the world, so too must we be on the lookout for the ways in which the Lord is working in our lives, and be ready to give him thanks and praise. And finally, we see the importance of sharing the good news of the Lord with others. Just as Anna spoke of Jesus to all who were looking for redemption, so too must we be bold in sharing the good news of the Lord with those around us, bearing witness to his love and grace. Let's Pray... Father, I pour out my love for YouΒ  β€”not because I want things from You, but because You are my priority. Let me enjoy Your goodness and seek Your heart above all else. We hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. TITLE: 23-041 CONSISTENCY IN FAITH VERSE: 'This will be my third visit to you.Β β€œEvery matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses. 2 Corinthians 13:1 Welcome to today's episode of "THE POWER OF GODS WHISPER", a podcast dedicated to understanding the many ways in which God speaks to us and guides us in our daily lives. We will be discussing the importance of recognizing the impressions of the Holy Spirit and how it can be a powerful way that God speaks to us. Greetings Warriors, today we will be exploring the powerful words found in 2 Corinthians 13:1. 'This will be my third visit to you.Β β€œEvery matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses. (NIV)' As we consider these words, it is important to remember that Paul, the writer of this letter, is speaking to the Corinthian church, a community that he had invested much time and energy into, but who still struggled with division and immorality. And so, with this in mind, let us look at what Paul is trying to teach us through this passage. First and foremost, Paul is emphasizing the importance of consistency in our faith. Just as every word must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses, so too must our faith be established by our consistent actions and words. Our faith must not be a matter of convenience or circumstance, but something that is woven into the fabric of our daily lives. But why is consistency so important for our faith? Consistency is the evidence of our faith and the proof that we are truly following the Lord. When we are consistent in our faith, we not only strengthen our own relationship with God, but we also serve as a witness to others, encouraging them to follow the Lord as well. And so, let us make a commitment to live out our faith consistently, to let our actions and words bear witness to the love and grace of our Lord. May our faith be established in the eyes of all, and may our consistency bring glory to his name. Let's Pray... Lord, thank You for Your patience, not only to speak to dull ears like mine but to repeat Yourself when I’m not sure about what You said. I’m so grateful that You aren’t focused on my imperfect hearing; You’re focused on helping me understand. We hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. TITLE: 23-040 ASKING FOR GOD'S PERMISSION VERSE: Nathan replied to the king, β€œGo ahead and do whatever you have in mind, for the LORD is with you.” But that same night the LORD said to Nathan, β€œGo and tell my servant David, β€˜This is what the LORD has declared: Are you the one to build a house for me to live in?’” 2 SAMUEL 7:3-5 Welcome to today's episode of "THE POWER OF GODS WHISPER", a podcast dedicated to understanding the many ways in which God speaks to us and guides us in our daily lives. We will be discussing the importance of recognizing the impressions of the Holy Spirit and how it can be a powerful way that God speaks to us. Hey Warrior, today we gather to consider the importance of hearing God's whisper in our lives. In 2 Samuel 7:3-5, it says, 'And Nathan said to the king, Go, do all that is in thine heart; for the Lord is with thee. And it came to pass that night, that the word of the Lord came unto Nathan, saying, Go and tell my servant David, Thus saith the Lord, Shalt thou build me an house for me to dwell in?' This passage speaks of the conversation between King David and the prophet Nathan. King David had the desire to build a house for the Lord, but it was not until he sought the Lord's guidance that he discovered that it was not his place to do so. In much the same way, we must seek the Lord's guidance in all that we do, even in our well-intentioned plans and desires. For it is only through hearing God's whisper that we can truly know his will for our lives. But how do we hear God's whisper? First and foremost, it requires that we seek his voice in prayer and in the reading of his word. Just as King David sought the Lord's guidance through the prophet Nathan, so too must we seek the Lord's guidance through his word and in prayer. Additionally, hearing God's whisper requires that we have a heart that is open and receptive to his voice. We must cultivate a heart of humility, recognizing that God's wisdom is greater than our own. And we must be willing to follow his guidance, even when it may not align with our own plans and desires. Let's Pray... Lord, thank You for Your grace and patience as I learn Your voice. Help me learn to recognize it immediately, and guide me clearly when I don’t. We hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. TITLE: 23-039 SEEKING GUIDENCE THROUGH HIS WHISPERS VERSE: Before daybreak the next morning, Jesus got up and went out to an isolated place to pray. MARK 1:35 Welcome to today's episode of "THE POWER OF GODS WHISPER", a podcast dedicated to understanding the many ways in which God speaks to us and guides us in our daily lives. We will be discussing the importance of recognizing the impressions of the Holy Spirit and how it can be a powerful way that God speaks to us. Dear Warriors, today we gather to meditate on the power of hearing God's whisper in our lives. In Mark 1:35, it says, 'And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.' This verse speaks of Jesus, who regularly withdrew to solitary places to pray and seek the guidance of the Lord. And just as Jesus sought solitude to hear the voice of God, so too must we make the effort to find quietness and stillness in our lives. But why is solitude so important for hearing God's whisper? It is in the quietness of our hearts and minds that we are able to clear away the distractions and noise of the world, and focus on the voice of God. It is in solitude that we are able to listen deeply and hear the gentle guidance of the Lord. But hearing God's whisper requires more than just solitude. It also requires a heart that is open and receptive to his voice. We must cultivate a heart of humility, recognizing that God's wisdom is greater than our own. We must have faith and trust in his guidance, knowing that even when we cannot see the path ahead, he is leading us towards his perfect will and purposes. Let's Pray... Heavenly Father, we come before you today with grateful hearts. We thank you for your love, grace, and mercy that never fails us. We ask that you would guide us in all that we do and help us to hear your whisper in our lives. Give us the wisdom and strength to follow your will and to trust in your guidance, even when we cannot see the path ahead. Lord, we ask that you would bless us and keep us, and make your face to shine upon us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen. We hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. TITLE: 23-038 GET YOUR HEART TUNED IN VERSE: Put the Urim and the Thummim in the breastpiece, so they may be over Aaron’s heart whenever he enters the presence of the LORD . Thus Aaron will always bear the means of making decisions for the Israelites over his heart before the LORD . EXODUS 28:30, NIV Welcome to today's episode of "THE POWER OF GODS WHISPER", a podcast dedicated to understanding the many ways in which God speaks to us and guides us in our daily lives. We will be discussing the importance of recognizing the impressions of the Holy Spirit and how it can be a powerful way that God speaks to us. Warriors...today we gather to contemplate the importance of hearing God's whisper in our lives. In Exodus 28:30, it says, 'And thou shalt put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim (sacred objects); and they shall be upon Aaron's heart, when he goeth in before the Lord: and Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel upon his heart before the Lord continually.' This verse speaks of the Urim and Thummim, which were used by the high priest, Aaron, to seek guidance from the Lord. These sacred objects were placed upon Aaron's heart, reminding us that our hearts must be attuned to the voice of God in order to hear his guidance. So what does it mean to have our hearts attuned to God's voice? First and foremost, it means having a heart that is pure and devoted to the Lord. Just as a finely tuned instrument produces clear and harmonious sounds, so too does a pure heart allow us to hear the still, small voice of God. Moreover, attuning our hearts to God's voice requires discipline and diligence. Just as Aaron had to go in continually before the Lord, so too must we make the conscious effort to seek and listen for God's voice in our lives. This may mean setting aside quiet time each day to meditate on God's word and listen for his guidance. But most importantly, attuning our hearts to God's voice requires us to have faith and trust in his guidance. Even when we cannot see the path ahead, we must have faith that God's voice will lead us towards his perfect will and purposes. So today, let us make a commitment to attune our hearts to the voice of God. Let us seek him with pure hearts, discipline and diligence, and trust in his guidance, for it is through hearing his whisper that we find peace, purpose, and direction in life. Let's Pray... Heavenly Father, we come to you today with open hearts and humble spirits. We ask that you fill us with your wisdom, grace, and love. Guide us in your truth and give us the strength and courage to follow your will. Help us to always listen for your whisper in our lives and to trust in your guidance. Thank you for your endless love and mercy. We hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. TITLE: 23-037 AN INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP VERSE: I will meet with you there and talk to you from above the atonement cover between the gold cherubim that hover over the Ark of the Covenant. EXODUS 25:22 Welcome to today's episode of "THE POWER OF GODS WHISPER", a podcast dedicated to understanding the many ways in which God speaks to us and guides us in our daily lives. We will be discussing the importance of recognizing the impressions of the Holy Spirit and how it can be a powerful way that God speaks to us. Hey Warriors, today we gather to reflect on the power of hearing God's whisper. In Exodus 25:22, we read that God promises to commune with us from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim upon the Ark of the Covenant. This verse reminds us that God desires to have a personal and intimate relationship with each of us. So how do we hear the whisper of the Lord in our daily lives? It starts with stillness and quietness of heart. Just as we must be silent to hear the soft cooing of a dove, so too must we quiet our minds and hearts to hear the gentle whispers of God. Moreover, we must have faith and trust in God's voice. The Israelites placed the Ark of the Covenant in the Holy of Holies, recognizing that it was the dwelling place of the Lord. In the same way, we must acknowledge that God's voice is present within us, guiding us towards his will and purposes. But hearing God's whisper requires more than just quietness and faith. It requires us to be obedient. Obedience to God's voice means making the conscious decision to follow his guidance, even when it may not make sense to us. It means stepping out in courage and trust, knowing that God is leading us towards a greater purpose. So, let us make a commitment to still our hearts and listen for the gentle whispers of the Lord. Let us have faith and trust in his voice, and let us be obedient to his guidance, for it is through hearing God's whisper that we draw closer to him and find true peace and purpose in life." Let's Pray... Lord, I choose to fully believe that I am coveredΒ  β€”that my offenses no longer exist. Thank You that I can freely meet with You and hear from You. In this freedom, please let me hear Your voice. We hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. TITLE: 23-036 FROM THE HEART OF GOD VERSE: I am the LORD who heals you. EXODUS 15:26 Welcome to today's episode of "THE POWER OF GODS WHISPER", a podcast dedicated to understanding the many ways in which God speaks to us and guides us in our daily lives. Today, we will be discussing the importance of recognizing the impressions of the Holy Spirit and how it can be a powerful way that God speaks to us. This is a loving message from God to all those who listen. β€œSometimes when I speak to you, I tell you the side of My nature you will soon need to experience. I’m not trying to alarm you when I do this; there is an important spiritual truth at work. You need to know who I am going to be for you, so you can appeal to Me in faith when the need comes. β€œDo you understand? I respond to you based on your prayers of faith. But you will not pray those prayersΒ  β€”or you will pray them in desperation rather than in confident faithΒ  β€”if I haven’t assured you of who I am. You may be surprised when I tell you I’m your Healer, Provider, Comforter, Deliverer, Promise-keeper, Guide, or anything else, especially if you hear those assurances in times when you aren’t in need of them. But a time will come when you will need to appeal to Me based on what you already know of My character. And you will need to know who I am on your behalf, and you will be glad for the words of promise. β€œDon’t be afraid when I tell you that I’m your Healer. I am simply strengthening your faith before you need to exercise it in that area. Don’t be afraid when I tell you I’m your Provider, your Deliverer, or your Comforter. It doesn’t mean that lack, captivity, or grief are just around the corner. But you already know what life in this world is like. You know you will find yourself in times of deep need. And when you do, I don’t want you to call to Me tentatively or in hopeless desperation. I want you to anchor your hope and faith in who I am. That’s why I tell you who I am now. Embrace My nature and learn to depend on every side of Me that I choose to reveal to you.” LET'S PRAY... Lord, I do need YouΒ  β€”often. I need to be able to call to You without wondering if You’ll come through for me. Please develop my confidence in Your nature. Fill me now with the certain knowledge of who You are. In conclusion, we hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. TITLE: 23-035 A REAL CONUNDRUM VERSE: His father and mother didn’t realize the LORD was at work in this, creating an opportunity to work against the Philistines, who ruled over Israel at that time. JUDGES 14:4 Welcome to today's episode of "THE POWER OF GODS WHISPER", a podcast dedicated to understanding the many ways in which God speaks to us and guides us in our daily lives. Today, we will be discussing the importance of recognizing the impressions of the Holy Spirit and how it can be a powerful way that God speaks to us. Hello Warriors and welcome to today’s podcast, where we dive into the depths of God's Word and explore the mysterious and loving ways in which He leads us. Today, we're going to be discussing the conundrum of when God's guidance seems to contradict what He has previously revealed in the Bible. We've all heard the saying that "God will never lead you in any way that contradicts what He has revealed in His Word." But what do we do when we come across passages in Scripture that seem to defy this statement? For example, in Deuteronomy 7:3 and Joshua 23:12-13, God commands His people not to marry the women of the land, yet in the story of Samson, his parents protest his decision to marry a Philistine woman, yet it is revealed that God was in this decision. Comparably, in Proverbs, there are strong prohibitions against going near a prostitute, yet God leads Hosea to marry one. And even though the law had not yet been given, God has always loathed child sacrifice, yet He commands Abraham to sacrifice his son, Isaac. It's important to remember that God is not limited by our understanding of His nature and principles. He desires a personal relationship with us, and He speaks to us in ways that stretch and challenges us, leading us to a deeper heart connection with Him. It's important for us to remember that God does not contradict himself and that we should not define his nature too narrowly and reduce it to rules He himself has given. So let's not be too quick to question and doubt when we're faced with situations that seem to defy our understanding of God's will. Let's have faith and trust in the loving and mysterious ways in which He leads us. And let's pray for the grace to hear God's voice as a living, dynamic reality in our lives, and for the courage to trust in His ways, even when they may be difficult to understand. Let’s Pray… Father, I want thatΒ  β€”to be face to face with You, really hearing Your voice and not just reasoning on my own. Please lead me in Your ways. In conclusion, we hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. TITLE: 23-034 AN UNUSUAL OCCURRENCE VERSE: As [Saul] was approaching Damascus on this mission, a light from heaven suddenly shone down around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice. ACTS 9:3-4 Welcome to today's episode of "THE POWER OF GODS WHISPER", a podcast dedicated to understanding the many ways in which God speaks to us and guides us in our daily lives. Today, we will be discussing the importance of recognizing the impressions of the Holy Spirit and how it can be a powerful way that God speaks to us. Hello Warrior, welcome to today’s podcast. Today, we're going to be talking about the power of spiritual encounters. The story we'll be sharing with you is about a young man who was a devout, lifelong Muslim, the young man had always been certain of his faith. But as he grew older, he began to feel a sense of emptiness, as if there was something missing. He prayed to God, asking for guidance and the truth. Not long after, a bright light in the form of a man appeared to him in his room. The light spoke, identifying itself as Jesus, and the young man's life was forever changed. This type of spiritual encounter is not uncommon in the Middle East, or even in other parts of the world. Jesus does not discriminate, and He chooses to reveal himself to people in various ways. Some see Him in dreams, others in visions during prayer, and some even see Him in tangible form during their daily activities. Though not everyone who seeks Him will have this type of experience, for those who do, their lives are forever transformed. Saul, also known as Paul, had a powerful encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus. He later wrote that more than 500 people had seen the resurrected Jesus before His ascension. Throughout history, many people have shared similar experiences, and their lives have been changed as a result. An encounter with Jesus can turn anyone into a passionate and committed believer, willing to do whatever it takes to glorify Him. Jesus is willing to step into our lives in powerful ways and change us forever. Let's pray: Jesus, reveal yourself to even more people. Captivate the hearts of seekers everywhere, regardless of their faith. Come into this world whenever and however you choose. Let us see your glory. In conclusion, we hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love. 23-033 THE NEXT STEP

23-033 THE NEXT STEP

2023-02-0205:10

TITLE: 23-033 THE NEXT STEP VERSE: Now our knowledge is partial and incomplete, and even the gift of prophecy reveals only part of the whole picture! 1 CORINTHIANS 13:9 Welcome to today's episode of "THE POWER OF GODS WHISPER", a podcast dedicated to understanding the many ways in which God speaks to us and guides us in our daily lives. Today, we will be discussing the importance of recognizing the impressions of the Holy Spirit and how it can be a powerful way that God speaks to us. Hey there Warrior! Welcome to today's podcast. Today we're going to talk about a topic that many of us have likely struggled with at some point in our faith journey - why God reveals only a part of His plan to us. It's easy to think that anyone who claims to hear God's voice is claiming omniscience, but that's not the case. God only reveals what He wants us to know, and often that's a very incomplete picture that still requires faith. He unveils the next step, the encouragement we need at the moment, or the information necessary for the next decision; but He doesn't give us the ability to know His will at all times for all purposes. Even the greatest of Scripture's prophets had to wrestle with partial glimpses and meager explanations. So why does God speak to us only in part? Doesn't He want us to know the fullness of His plan? Of course He does, but perhaps it's because the journey is designed to build faith, a vital key in our relationship with Him. Or maybe He knows that if we see the full picture, we'll try to accomplish it with our own limited wisdom and resources. We don't have the perspective to oversee the whole plan, so God gives us only one piece at a time. We have to cling to Him and tune our ears to the sound of His voice moment by moment, otherwise, we risk serving our own ends in our own wisdom and developing a dangerous sense of independence. So, get used to hints and whispers and brief glimpses of His purposes. We can hear His voice clearly and confidently, but never comprehensively. That's why we need the rest of the body of Christ; together we can discern God's will. He reserves the fullness of revelation for a day when we can look back and give Him glory for the beauty of all He has done. So, let's all try to remember that partial pictures are frustrating, yet we know God doesn't offer more to any one person. Let's help each other to discern the parts we see and to trust in the parts He reveals to others. Thanks for listening, and we'll see you next time. LET'S PRAY... TITLE: 23-032 AGAINST ALL HOPE VERSE: Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed. ROMANS 4:18, NIV Welcome to today's episode of "THE POWER OF GODS WHISPER", a podcast dedicated to understanding the many ways in which God speaks to us and guides us in our daily lives. Today, we will be discussing the importance of recognizing the impressions of the Holy Spirit and how it can be a powerful way that God speaks to us. Hey there Warriors! Welcome to today's podcast. Today, I want to talk about one of the key lessons we can learn in God's school of faith-building. It's the art of staring at seeming contradictions to what God has said, while still maintaining our hope in His promises. Take Abraham for example, he was given a promise that he would be a father of nations, but he waited a quarter of a century for it to come to pass. God didn't tell him how or when, so Abraham tried to fill in the blanks for himself. But the promise got more specific over time, it would be fulfilled from Abraham's own body, not through an adopted servant, and through the body of his wife Sarah, not through her maid. And there was nothing for Abraham to do but wait. When the time finally came, both he and Sarah laughed. The promise seemed long overdue. But God had spoken, and they had believed. So, even when circumstances seemed hopeless, Abraham trusted what God had said. And that's the posture we should have as well when we've heard God's voice. We may encounter enormous contradictions, but faith holds on and hopes. Sometimes we'll misunderstand, and our faith will need to be redirected. Sometimes we'll expect results in a certain time frame and we'll be disappointed. But one way or another, God will fulfill what He has spoken. Our training isn't complete until we can stare contradictions in the face and still have peaceful hearts that hope against all hope. We might prefer that God would cultivate our faith by rewarding it immediately, like a dog trainer who rewards a good trick with a treat. But God doesn't work that way. He cultivates our faith by hiding Himself and encouraging us to seek Him. This now-you-see-Him-now-you-don't process can be frustrating, but it's essential to the building of our faith. And when we learn to hope against hope in what God has promised, our hope receives its rewards. LET'S PRAY... Lord, fill us with hope, the kind that does not disappoint. Keep us rooted not just in what You've said but in who You are. Help us to trust Your heart no matter what we see. In conclusion, we hope that this message has encouraged you to be open to the unique ways in which God speaks to you and to share those insights with others in humility and love.
