On this episode of THINGS YOU ONLY TELL YOUR GIRLFRIENDS, we are so grateful to have a chat with our friend, Robin, who offers us a glimpse of her life's journey as the mom of a trans kid. She talks about her perspective of how her journey has been thus far, obstacles along the way and what she would like to see in regards ally ship, the direction of representation in books/films/media and what she wishes people who have decided to fight against the rights of trans kids would ultimately know. In this month of pride, we encourage everyone to be a bit more compassionate and understanding and to really try and imagine walking in someone else's shoes to comprehend their struggle. We ultimately all want to be happy and we should all do everything we can to protect trans kids. Unfortunately there are people who will always reject them and given all the anti-trans bills being pushed forward, donating to an organization like https://transgenderlawcenter.org/ or the https://www.transjusticefundingproject.org/might be a great way to join in the fight.
