Description

"This is Personal" looks at the intimate details of a person's life through appreciative inquiry. We delve deep to find out how they got to this singular point in their lives. What are the events, the stories that influenced how their life has worked out? Have they used their past as a weapon or as a gift? By allowing a guest to share their story authentically, we gain both compassion and inspiration from their struggles and successes. And hopefully insight on what we might become as well.

Leslie Kenny was given a terminal diagnosis when she was 39. In this episode, we hear how she rejected her Doctor's opinion and figured out how to heal herself with diet and lifestyle changes. Leslie talks at length about the role model her grandparents on both sides -- the Taiwanese side and the American side--  and how she responded to a series of life challenges. From moving to Zurich to become a Swiss banker, then to Harvard Business School, then to Hong Kong to work for Walt Disney Studios. She later started one of the first online dating platforms in China and India. All presented their own very unique challenges, as she explains.  And then we learn how she became a biohacker extraordinaire to heal herself after she was given less than 5 years to live. Then launched her own company, Oxford Healthspan, to bring a transformational product called Primeadine into the marketplace. The product has anti-aging properties affecting 6 of the 9 pillars of aging. So if you want to learn how to turn back your biological clock, tune into today's show. Leslie demonstrated a wonderful example of taking full responsibility for her health and her life, despite rather significant adversity. As her grandparents were a great example for her, in turn she is passing on her attitude and passion to another generation in a very powerful way through her health coaching and  Oxford Healthspan.  For more information about Leslie Kenny and her company go to: www.OxfordHealthSpan.com If you'd like to try Primeadine use discount code "DAN15"Leslie's YouTube channel: "Leslie's New Prime"    https://youtu.be/vSXJHZ1Xg7MDisclaimer: The content of this podcast is for information only and no medical advice or recommendations are made for our listeners.
