Mother's Day Delayed

Mother's Day Delayed

2020-06-0110:28

It was just before Mothers Day when two white citizens hunted down a black man for jogging and killed him. Shortly after a woman called the police in a NYC park to lie on a black man who asked her to out her dog on a leash and the straw that broke the camel's back was George Floyd, who was killed after having a knee in his neck for 7 minutes by a police officer. Everything was caught on camera for every incident and it is infuriating and savage. George called for his dead mother as he died. As a mother I found it hard to be present this Mother's Day. My heart was with Ahmaud who was killed days before. There are not enough words. I love black men and I know it is not enough.
