Carver Louis and Toad catching up right here in fabulous Las Vegas! Not saying we spent some time together over the holidays up in SLC grabbing some good pizza at Oak Wood Fire Kitchen… If y’all get a chance to check it out on a trip to Utah, call me!! We dove into the big move to Nashville to get a better handle on writing, playing in the rounds, being a product of his environment. We talked football and the fantasy leagues, touched on the world of supercross, his youth in sports.
New music coming out asap, looking forward to it for sure! We talked Zach Top, Kassi Ashton, Tucker Wetmore and Riley Green too.
Although he leaned into picking the Eagles in the Super Bowl, I feel his real pick was for them chiefs! It’ll make sense. We got deep with trying versus doing.. anew motto is that I am not trying anymore, we are only here to DO!

Craig Campbell and Toad catching up during The 2024 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas! We dove into music, what’s happening in 2025 with a release to radio of a single. Yes, back to radio as an independent artist following the blue print that Drew Baldridge used with She’s Somebody’s Daughter! We are looking forward to another in radio to number 1! We talked Outskirts of Heaven, where it started, the first time he played it and how it changed his life.
We had some fun with Christmas, even touched “lightly” on some politics and the state we’re in today. Was a super fun time hanging out, catching up and hearing the future with music, family, volleyball, Grindstone, new music and so much more!

The Roads Below and Toad getting to know each other pretty fast on this one. These guys met in a pretty cool way. Members from all over the states and maybe even Ireland. Started out in the emo world. Punk, Rock, Singer Songwriter influences brought the Roads Below to what they are today.
We talked about “Writing relatable, and you win”. Writing music that is timeless, relatable and honest. We dove into Nate Smith, Brett Young and the artists that do just this and continue to win.

He got super famous on Facebook with a meme of him on a JetSki, super funny story. I had heard stories about who Jason Cross was before I ever met him. We talked getting on festivals without an agent or a manager. He is a true hustler and that’s why I think I was drawn to him as a person. We met in North Carolina of all places, booked him a show in Vegas and now he’s back!
We talked about Russell Dickerson’s shows over the years and our goal of selling out and when we did, it was show stopping worthy!
We talked about the best fast food hamburger… what’s yours? In N Out? Culvers ? Shake Shack ? Let’s talk about it! and don’t… don’t judge Arby’s!

With his genre-bending country, pop, and R&B style, Nashville singer Drew Green first garnered attention as a songwriter before catching the spotlight with his 2020 tracks “Little More Be Alright’ and “Right Where I Be.” Both cuts appeared on his debut EP, Dirt Boy, Vol. 1. His 2021 follow-up, Dirt
Kelsey Hart and Toad spending some time talkin’ Vegas, growing up with singing in church, his first band (Boys of Broad) and the 5 songs they recorded. Everyone grows up and moves on to “life” and Kelsey’s Nashville career starts.
His days in Kentucky of cutting hair, to posting some clips online (remember the 15 sec clips) of cover tunes and it caught the eye of a Big Machine rep and his writing in Nashville became a thing.

I got to have some fun with Josh’s tour manager in the afternoon, raised his blood pressure just a little with a ticketing question. We dove into the comfort of a smaller stage as well as the joy in the larger stages. Getting out on the road with Bailey Zimmerman, playing the Ryman, the Forum, Canada and so many more places!

I’ve known Siena for years, we’ve always talked about getting together and catching up on her life, personal and professional. We ended up spending some time on her mom, her cooking, desserts and BREAD! We need to get her on Chopped on the Food Network, my money would be on her!
The start of music in her life came from the lyric “‘Cause we’ll put a boot in your ass”! We talked old vegas, her family; from creativity in life to an uncle that was a “bad ass” guitar player. Started playing music at about 8 years old, guitar and piano. Played all around vegas to get the skill set down.

Her move out of Vegas to follow her dream… she talked Texas and Tennessee and why she chose Tennessee.

The move to Nashville, former football player that like most, got hurt. Josh has always been true to his music and songs. What a cool story of what makes him the artist he is today. First Taste Of Gone being the first time out of the writing room that he walked out with him knowing it was a true to him and started to make him who he is today!

Shaylen and Toad getting to know each other and it all started with almost being named.. Buffalo Dallas… her dad was a huge football fan, and uh.. she was born on Superbowl Sunday and ya… they thought of naming her yup.. Buffalo Dallas. No drugs were involved in that thought either! Shaylen was in LA and living her life as a pop artist. Record deals and everything. Grew up on country music and singing in the church.
We talked Lips of an Angel and playing it with Austin John Winkler of Hinder at one of the last Whiskey Jams at Winners Bar in Nashville! Catie Offerman and Toad getting to know each other pretty good! From nicknames to growing up on a ranch, being an only child, getting homeschooled by dad and having some different friends… ya, ranch animals and dad! Played Polka music until 14 and realized it’s time to be a cool kid.
We jumped into meeting Simon Fuller and heading to New York to see what might be next! New opportunities, working at juice bars, the Nike store… This is definitely a fun listen getting to know the behind the scenes life of Catie Offerman. The turning point in the career where she wanted to be. We dove into the move to Nashville and finding “her people” and getting away from the “roommate issues” she was having. We dove into into stepping away from writing and social media… nothing posting on social for 3 months, went through a stage in life of no touring, no playing etc… might make for a good writing session in his near future!
