The Pierre Lalonde/Sol the Clown alliance is like dark web Canadianity. I remember watching tonnes of Sol in grade school French class in Windsor, Ont., in the early 80s. Our teacher would make us recreate/riff on the telephone dialogues Sol would have with Marc Favreau. My friend andnInwrote a dialogue about how Sol and Marc were actually the same guy on a split screen and rhe tescher told us we were wrong--how could they be the same guy when one guy was a clown andnrhey were talking to each other on the phone on the screen at the same time! We laughed in her face in front of the whole class and got in trouble because we were only about 12. Anyway, you guys took me back and I wad laughing even harder. Kudos!
