Talbots Turn Fast Podcast

Derek Stewart has owned his 1968 Dodge Dart since he was 14 years old. Before he could get it back on the road safely, he had to replace a ton of rusty sheet metal and reverse years of mechanical neglect. Derek eventually got the car on the autocross course and was hooked. 15 years later, the car has several custom designed suspension pieces and over 500WHP which was good enough to get a 2nd place in the vintage class at Autocross Week 2026.

In this episode I talk with Blake and his crew chief and fiancé Ang about their Chevy Blazer known as the "Blazette". They are the creators of the Hubcaps and Handlebars You tube channel where they document their automotive shenanigans.

I gathered the entire group of guys I convoyed with during Autocross Week to share their experiences.

In this episode I discuss my personal experience while participating in the 2026 Summit Racing Autocross Week.

Autocross Week 2026 starts later this week. I decided to sit down with my crew chief for the week, Mrs. Turn Fast, to talk about the week. To my surprise she flipped the script and hit me with some very good questions.
