Known in America as the Valmet or Sako the Finnish RK military rifle is based off of the Soviet Kalashnikov AK-47/AKM rifle. To bring us the “Leaducation” on the Valmet Lefty and Brian bring in the expert, Nils Grevillius. Nils has been studying the Valmet for many years and gives us a detailed historical view into how the Valmet came to be, why it was designed the way it is, how it was used in combat and then we break it down part by part and compare it to the Soviet AK-47 and the Israeli Galil. A list of new rules proposed by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) at the request of President Joe Biden would make most firearms with stabilizing pistol braces illegal. Owners would have to register, turn in, or disassemble the guns to avoid federal felony charges.
