Samreid graduated from Curtin with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Geology, but instead of pursuing a career in the mining industry, he found a passion for education. Together, Mary and Janelle have recognised the potential opportunity of utilising the huge amount of wasted mangoes in Australia and decided to start their own initiative called ‘The Mango Project’. Pia studied fashion at Curtin, but her career has taken a very different path. Her passion and experience has lead her to work within higher education, social justice, and community and equity engagement.
