Description
Tangents is a unique quiz podcast that lets the players control the game by selecting the subjects from a list of “tangents” related to each question. The game keeps going until you miss three questions, so the goal is to build the highest score you can and get on top of the leaderboard.
The trivia is based on the difficulty level of an average pub quiz, so it should be accessible for a wide audience. We cover a wide range of subjects like movies, TV, music, sports, specific pop culture themes, and academic subjects.

This episode will put a cap on our first century of episodes - and what an honor it was to have Carmela in the hotseat for this. As she mentions, this recording comes almost a decade after our first podcast meeting, and I’ve been a big fan ever since. If you know her, you won’t be surprised to find out that she was looking for questions on RPG video games, space, and Farscape. This was a lot of fun, and the perfect way to but a bow on the first 100. I’m actually just getting home from Boone’s Saloon where I got to play with these two for the first time, while Greg from Episode 48 hosted. They are the perfect combination of hilarious and interesting, and if they never do a podcast of their own, we are going to miss out on a lot of great stories. I will keep the pressure on. He runs a very successful pub quiz at his family business, Bayne’s Apple Valley in Freeland, Michigan. So we spent the first half hour of our visit talking about the pub quiz business, and that got pretty industry-specific, so we may save that chunk for a special bonus episode combined with some of the other quiz hosts and owners we’ve had on.
