Meditation: Bring RAIN to the Wanting Mind - (2020-03-04) -  We begin the meditation by briefly scanning through the body and sensing awareness of being here. We scan our life and use the acronym RAIN to Recognize a feeling of wanting, Allow it to be there, and Investigate how we’re holding the experience in our body. As we trace back to our longing for belonging, we Nurture a feeling of belonging as warmth, openness and tenderness that’s already here. This is the final meditation from the full talk given on March 3, 2020, Desire and Addiction (Part 1): Voices of Longing Calling You Home.
Guided Heart Meditation: Loving Kindness - Befriending our Lives - This meditation guides us in how to cultivate a deep quality of friendliness in relating to our inner life and each other. It turns to suffering when, due to unmet needs, it contracts, intensifies and separates us from our full aliveness and awareness. I love this podcast, one of my favourites I have ever come across. If I'm feeling stressed, depressed or anxious it always calms me down and makes me feel more positive about the world! Just one criticism, the home recorded sessions recently lack sound quality and are not comfortable to listen to. Thanks for being so consistent in releasing these talks and for taking the time to do so. I'm sure so many people appreciate it 😊🌈

Tara if you are reading this I want you to know that I have dealt with emotional pain and suffered much for most of my life. I've tried so hard for so long but I always end up back in that place. I've recently discovered you. Since then I have listened to you every single day. I hear you. What you say makes sense to me. It's like someone is finally telling me the truth about myself. Thank you for helping me. I can't even begin to express my gratitude or the impact you've already had on me.

beauty of podcasting! just last night I had realization that we r constantly doing something in life, sort of distracted from real Question, what is LIVING? apart from chores n things we do, becuz what we do IS NOT life, it's just action n reactions n it's keeping us distracted from main objective we shud be after, wot really is LIFE? EVERONE needs to get off treadmill n stop n think it's only possible if we can be noisefree.. to.sitback n think what is LIFE n are we REALLY living it or wasting it... glad to discover this podcast my first episode n I feel I'm with the right person to be engaging with. she' seems to be on similar frequency as i... enlightening the mind so we can live happy fulfilling lives is the goal of the community here I hope! thx
