ABOUT LINDSAY
Lindsay Mack is a queer intuitive Tarot teacher, and the host of TFTWS podcast.

Lindsay is the creator of Soul Tarot, a reinterpretation and intentional utilization of the Tarot as a non-predictive healing tool, one that is can assist us in differentiating the noise of our mind from the truth of our soul. Soul Tarot is a fusion of Lindsay’s 25 years of experience reading and studying Tarot, her work with her mentor, Michelle Sinnette, her own healing journey through complex PTSD/chronic illness, and channeled wisdom from her Guides. Through her regularly sold out workshops, retreats and online Tarot courses, Lindsay has had the profound honor of teaching Soul Tarot to thousands of people from all around the world.

As a joyful and healthy survivor of childhood abuse, trauma & PTSD, Lindsay is passionately dedicated to honoring and helping to bring space, light and healing to those who are experiencing mental, emotional or physical suffering. It was the healing from a breakdown in 2014 that fully birthed her into this sacred work and onto her soul path. It is an organic part of her healing work with the Tarot, and she is honored to be sharing these offerings to those who feel called to them.

Honoring and acknowledging that this podcast is recorded on the unceded land of The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, currently called Portland, OR, with the deepest respect to the Kalapuya Tribe, Cowlitz Tribe, and Atfalati Tribe.

Today's episode of T-WS podcast is super special for two reasons: 1) we are officially going on an extended pause with the podcast, and 2) we are diving into the luminous heart of The Sun card, exploring it as an invitation into self celebration. Ruled by the Sun, and by extension, Leo, The Sun card marks an important moment of clarity and perspective in our lives, and often shows up as a new beginning -- one that can help us to understand more about ourselves, and honor how much we've grown and changed. It is a powerful energy, one that may seem sweet and simple on paper, but is radically potent and beautiful in it's depths. Thank you so much for being here, Wild Souls! To read the transcript for this episode: https://bit.ly/33EkK7I _________ On this very special, workshop sized episode of Tarot for the Wild Soul, we drop in deeply about the Inner Child, and more specifically, what it is to engage with our inner children in the midst of a pandemic. The majority of folks on the planet are working with fed up, unhappy, frightened, tantruming inner children, and overwhelmed inner caretakers right now. How can we come back home to them, tending to our inner little ones, and supporting the inner parents within? In this episode, we speak deeply about how we can reparent and find compassion for ourselves in the midst of the current times, and the Tarot cards that are showing up as beautiful anchors to support us in this huge work. On today’s episode of T-WS, we talk about the upcoming Spring Equinox, and the significance of moving from Pisces season (The Moon card) to Aries season (The Emperor). Welcome back to Part Three of our journey through the second Vertical Line of the Major Arcana! We are completing this exploratory deep dive with The Tower — our sacred initiator and teacher for this week. Ruled by Mars, The Tower card invites us to return home to our foundations, to offer our love to a deep wounding, or a part of ourselves that is asking for our attention. Within the context of rewilding intuition, and inviting Spirit into our lives in a more meaningful way (which is what the second Vertical Line is all about), The Tower can also be a signal from our souls that something is ready to be cleared, released, or processed. How can we surrender to those deep calls? How do we show up for ourselves in those moments? Together we will explore all of this and more, as we spend time with this transformative archetype. CWs: The content in this episode contains references to chronic illness, physical illness, illness, injury, pain, trauma, racism, economic and systemic marginalization, systemic oppression, poverty, patriarchy, capitalism, grief, climate change, environmental degradation, natural disaster, body shaming, and abuse. Last week, we explored The High Priestess, our first card in the second Vertical Line of the Majors, looking to it as an access point to reclaiming and rewilding our intuition. This week, we are dropping into our second card of the second Vertical Line, The Hermit. Ruled by Virgo, The Hermit calls us into a deep, reflective space, inviting us to surrender to the unknown and root into stillness. On today’s episode of Tarot for the Wild Soul podcast, we continue our exploration of how certain Tarot cards work together with The Hierophant, The Lovers, and The Chariot. These three cards invite us to come back home to ourselves, to reclaim our power, autonomy, self love — everything we have a tendency to give away to others. Who are we following, worshipping, or paying attention to? What are we giving away to others that is actually ours to cherish, hold, and celebrate? How would our life change, evolve, or transform if we began to reclaim these birthrights? In today’s episode, we will explore how The Hierophant is showing up as a teacher and anchor for us in these times, as well as how we can begin to lean into these three archetypes as a unit, and call back to ourselves what we’ve lost or given away. How do multiple Tarot cards influence and interact with one another? What kind of medicine do they bring to our lives? It can be so powerful to reflect on the essence of a particular Tarot card, one that can take on a whole new meaning when we look at it as a pair or a unit. On this episode of Tarot for the Wild Soul podcast, we explore the relationship between the Four, Five, and Six of Cups. These cards invite us to integrate our emotional experiences, and create ample, compassionate space for our grief. When we work with these energies as a unit, we cultivate the capacity for radical self tending, transformative reparenting, and greater spaciousness in our hearts for ourselves and others. Awesome advice. Shifting our thinking as well as how we verbalize our inner thoughts needs to be shifted. Giving and Receiving is key to the outpouring of blessings.

This podcast is soul food. I love the way Linday presents and explains tarot, its about something a lot bigger than a deck of cards. Her monthly medicine episodes give me chills. They are consistently spot on and I listen to them over and over throughout the month as a beautiful reminder to keep living in alignment. I feel held and supported by the monthly medicine as I never have before by any other teacher or offering. Immensely grateful for Lindsay sharing her magic with us.

wow I am african American and I recently bought the mother piece tarot deck because of its use of people of color and your suggestion. In the world we live in it can be hard to find any sort of reprensentaion of people who have any sort of pigmentation in there skin.I'm so sad to here this darker history. I will say this lydsey mac. thank you. I have never felt more seen. thank you for sharing and being honest with your thinking around not using mother piece anymore. I haven't decided my path yet. a part of me thinks "is this the best I can get" and another says "at least we are there at least these white women though of us when they made the deck." I'm a literature major and reading outdated texts and old ways of thinking is still powerful. I don't feel ready to let go of the motherpiece yet. there is value at looking at tools of the past. but I don't think it will be able to be my soul deck all have to find something else.if you have suggestions I would love them!! Today I pulled the temperance and the chariot so I'm going to embrace the caous. perhaps becoming comfy in the uncofertable is the only way to really shed light!
