With Sicilian roots and a Berlin base, he crafts sets that blend experimental electronic and dark ambient sounds, creating an experience that's both hypnotic and intense. Both his productions and mixes pulse with raw energy and a mystical edge, drawing inspiration from contemporary, cutting-edge techno as well as early 2000's influences. Guliver's journey began in West Sicily, where he performed in 2011/12 before expanding to Malta and northern Italy. TECH CLUBBERS PODCAST W/ AAKAARA AAKAARA is a London based producer, and visual artist working in mediums of screen printing, audiovisuals, and graphics. His taste in music and production style has been described as “sounding like a defunct cargo train.” Weirdness & thoughtful toughness are core sonic principles for AAKAARA. All formats of his work (visual, sonic) are conceptually focused on black hole dynamics, asemic writing, detritus, & distortion. He has released music on Silva Electronics, Degenerate Matter (2019), an album entitled Obsidian Promises (2023), and a dark ambient audiovisual album called Metasilence (2019) on Ghunghru. His latest release, Petroglyph I is a new direction in which he creates intricate ceramic CD case artifacts as a physical counterpart to the hard hitting, distortion-coated techno. He also runs a party in London called Exquisite Corpse, which showcases local artists who each bring a radically different expression of techno and beyond, ranging from broken, hypnotic, leftfield, noise, groove, body music, and industrial. The intent of these parties are to contrast the monotony of sub-genre specific nights and re-embrace eclecticism within a single evening. These parties are also paired with a parallel screen printing practice that is integral to the overall building of the graphic-artifact world. His journey into the captivating world of music production commenced in 1992 when he first laid hands on an Amiga 500 computer and the revolutionary Protracker software. However, it was in 1996 that he truly found his calling, becoming captivated by the possibilities presented by Fasttracker II. Following his relocation to Stockholm between 2002, The Miller experienced a zenith of creativity that left an indelible mark on the techno music landscape. During this period, his innovative sound graced vinyl releases on esteemed labels such as Pertence (BR), Sway (SE), Wetmusik (AU), and Primevil (UK).
